I didn't like the interviewer's slant here. Duncan does not have to defend himself or work to anyone. He is not crying about anything and he is not begging Jamie for anything, so why the negative slant?

@@flyguy7825I'll put it like this He's never had a period during his acting career after the show where he's not been working He's been on multiple shows including one where he's the main character as the president of The USA He's done a couple of movies and I believe he's the also done some voice acting, The problem is people have always tried to trap him inside of a box as an actor and he never fit the box

Just check the credits on TV shows and on some of the musical artists production credits. See who the writers, producers and directors are. And others have ventured off into the tech world. Absolutely! You're 100% on the money and he does that with a lot of people. His interviews can't stand them as an interviewer. He loves to try and race bait. He loves to try to start s*** that just simply isn't there. He's absolutely right. Chris Duncan has been working legitimately every year since the Jamie Foxx show has been off the air for 20 plus years. The reason he didn't make it as big as Jamie Foxx did. It all comes down to timing, opportunities and so so forth that you are afforded. Jamie Foxx always came across as someone who is multi-talented and he was also a hustler. He has his hand in so many different avenues the cream will always rise to the top.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 shame on this wack interviewer for trying to get Chris Duncan to say something negative about Jamie Foxx and his career. Chris Duncan has been working faithfully in show business ever since the Jamie Foxx show went off the air. His most notable role was probably The District where he did play a cop and he played that part very well. I would encourage you all to watch him in that show. He was really good. The show didn't last all that long but he was an important part of it. I really hate this channel when they start to try and racebait and try to start s*** out of nothing. Jamie Foxx was always hustling in show business in terms of getting opportunities and making opportunities for himself. I never thought much of him as a comedian but as an actual actor, performer and a musician he was always spot on but the Jamie Foxx show the first two years of it was actually pretty good towards the end it really got hokey.

😳 This is why Comedy Hype still can’t get to a million subscribers after all those years; they keep instigating drama in our Black community with their content and questions just like this Interviewer or Pierre. Even the comedy community don’t respect Comedy Hype. And most comments here say the same thing about their negativity.

Exactly that voice acting money ain't no joke and sometimes you end up with residual money from one role I know Kyle from living a single I don't remember his name sorry is still making money from the God of war games, Keith David is still making money from his multiple voice acting roles He did the voice of Spawn He did Goliath those are his most known also the shows he's been on and been one of the main characters I loved him in Greenleaf and I think he has another project on the way

You're a good actor we should see you in more. My fave when you and Jamie were in Mark Coopers driving class and he had the military uniform on the play off between you three in that class room is hilarious 😄 Your idea about a film between you and Jamie, yeah we'd like to see that. Sounds great. Hollywood needs more original script writers. Black script writers.

He had a great career. There's no point in comparing. Actors have it super difficult. Any performing arts role in music or acting etc is difficult to land. It's hard to live as a performer as well. Sometimes in beauracy and sometimes it's just talent. But Jamie Foxx was on "In living Color" and "def comedy Jam" he had a different path.
@byronrush9802

Exactly two programs that were highly popular and got his name out there, Duncan had his own path but was slowed down he ended up type cast even though he has a dynamic range of acting talent every role he's done since the show he put in the work He's shown what he can do He can be more than a comedic actor He can play serious roles He can do drama That's Hollywood you can have all that acting talent and Still be ignored sometimes you can have suck ass talent and be a superstar

@Iloveswedes
@Iloveswedes 11 ай бұрын
Yeah, but it's still annoying. Like Jamie was on In Living Color, which launched a lot of careers, and The Jamie Foxx Show was basically another showcase for Jamie. Helped make Garcelle Beauvais more of a household name, too, if people didn't remember seeing her in other stuff prior.@@KrisBryant99 That show was a vehicle for Jamie to showcase his talents. It's not that other folks didn't get to show what they had, but it was his namesake. Garrett Morris was on the downside of his great career. Others were there for work, it wasn't necessarily a launching pad for others in the way this interviewer believed it should be. Jamie showcased the piano work and eventually got Ray. But it was he who went into film. Some people go to Hollywood, some go to Broadway, others are somewhere on TV, and still others may never be known. Not every show is going to be gasoline on a person's career.

Christopher wasn't willing to do what Jamie did to get ahead that's all it is.Look at all the actors,actresses, singers, etc. who are still relevent such as Tamia, Shanice,Glen Lewis, Eric Benet, and sooooo many others who probably just not willing to sell their souls. They count the cost and realized it's not worth it. Now the industry will let you go so far but to go to the next level you've got to do more. Pay up time.

Man that's some self-hating b******* that's coming from a place of someone who doesn't know Jamie foxx's career at all. That dude was always multi-talented. The dude was multi-talented as a musician, an actor, and a comedian. Now I didn't think too much of his comedy work because I always thought it was rooted too much of him making fun of people too much but as a musician and as an actor he is pinpoint an a-list guy.
