Christopher Reeve had such a beautiful, warm and dignified smile. Just seeing his smile lightens up hearts and gives hope in life.

I like to think if he were still alive he'd be able to move other parts of his body than his index finger and his legs under water. The fact that he never gave up on his recovery made him a true hero. I also would've liked to see him on an episode of The Big Bang Theory cause it'd be awesome

Enormous talent of Chris Reeve : actor (cinema and theatre), artistic director, writer, director of the Christopher Reeve Foundation. Attentive father of his 3 children. He wasnt only for 4-times the performer of Superman but he wonderfully played a lot of characters simultaneously in cinema and tv movies his repertoir filmographic was very impressive. In fact : handsome actor, talented, charismatic, sensitive, courageous, modest with a good sense of humour!

He had suffered from alopecia where patches of hair would fall off when he was younger but was able to comb over those missing spots. When the alopecia returned, he decided to shave his head bald.

Oh there you go. My question jas been answered regarding if Chris R. could travel. Tho in an interview he said he is not religious but he has a core in faith. If only they tried Lourdes, France healing water . Yet only God Has His Plans to Us. May God take care of your beautiful soul our dear Christopher Reeve.

Oh, my word... As 2:58 Chris Reeve realized that had he known (or had the docs been honest) about the capabilities of Israel's medical treatment, he might have walking in the latter years of his life, or perhaps he may still be alive today :(. That's so sad!

he sits all the time. by not moving no blood circulates. it's important to move & excercise. i found it difficult to watch this & his movies. i've met c. reeve the most of all celebrities in the 1980's. a true gentlemen. i try not to cry. also i miss dana. they're both in heaven now. ****just enjoy his movies & the superman soundtracks.****

Well thanks for the judgmental and patronising response there. Nobody said he was complaining, just that he had to go to the UK for treatment because they didn't have the facilities in Israel. Thanks for responding again, I appreciate what you say. He is learning to use a wheelchair and eat and speak. I don't think he expects more than this, but I guess hope is all one has!

Just to ignore the pathetically ignorant comments below for a moment. My brother is also a C1/2 like Reeve and was injured in Israel. They have been unable to help him so he has now moved to the UK for rehabilitation. I would love to know where these places are he visited and ask them why they couldn't help my brother.

Because it didn't affect him directly....Its only after he had the accident that his mind was opened to that space... He wanted to walk again, heal himself... Wouldn't you??? He was lucky to have the platform as an actor to be able to bring awareness globally for people facing spinal cord injuries which I can say he really used to the best of his abilities... And todate all these years after his death.. His foundation is still helping many disabled people in need of support... Thats something positive we must give credit for . I can only see a man who made the best of what life in the form of fate had dictated to him.. But he took that setback and turned it in to motivation ... by sheer willpower.... Maybe without the accident he wouldn't have done all that he did to support people suffering from spinal cord injuries...but let's be honest very few people would have gone as far as he did in not just wanting to give it his all to help himself recover but to help others that were dealt the same unfortunate hand as he was.
