The indices are are a little big on the 12, makes it look cheap. I like the date at 6:00 position and the bracelet is little more refined on the 12. The movement is probably better quality. But the dial and everything else looks better on the PRX. Have to go with PRX.

I don't like the hex style bezel on the CW, the polished finish makes it hard to focus on what you're looking at.

I own a PRX and love it. 2 things though: 1. the CW’s bracelet looks a little more refined to me. 2. The corners on the case of the PRX are hard to appreciate in pics or video. The brushing is really well done and catches the light beautifully. The CW has trimmed those corners. I wonder if it looses some of the effect the PRX case has.

PRX has plastic components in the movement, therefore not serviceable and meant to be disposable. CW is made to last and will with proper servicing. CW all the way if you want your watch to last longer then 5 years.

Cw 12 bracelet looks more refined and higher quality. The space between the links look more precise. The proportions of the dial and the dead space of the corners of the cw look better too. Not sure it warrants being basically double the price though. I’d have to have my hands on both to determine that.

I love the 12, but I wish the full titanium had more dial color options. That blue and black or black and purple is too flashy for me. Make the titanium with the gray basalt, and I'll pre-order one right now😢

@TheWatchOut I've been looking out for a good deal on a Balck Bay 58 925 because I love the gray taupe dial w/ the black bezel. The brightness of the silver with those darker colors looks amazing, in my opinion.

PRX is style 🔥! The round, smooth bezel is so clean against the angular case lines. And the dial markers are classic and subdued, they compliment, rather than distract from, the beautiful waffle pattern dial. Compare those against the 12’s bezel angles, and more aggressive dial hands and markers. The watch looks over-styled; like it’s trying too hard.

The Twelve looks way better to me. I like how the chamfering on the bracelet matches the chamfering on the case. Its the attention to detail that wins me over. The Twelve's dial and hands look better to me also.

The Christopher Ward has a better movement slightly better finish and is all around a nicer watch, but, it’s considerably more expensive and I don’t know that I’d purchase it because it seems like a bandwagon watch… At least the PRX is a Reissue from Tissot, and has history… For the money, I would definitely choose the Tissot.

Yes, the CW12 has taken design cues from all over the place. And Christopher Ward have been open about it. But the end result is a good looking (and very well built) watch!

It's true that the Powermatic 80 is a little harder to service. So any local watch shop might not be able to do it, but getting it done from an authorized Tissot dealer shouldn't be too hard

The CW's dial is much too cluttered, the bezel is over designed, the whole watch is trying too hard. The bracelets are not all that different, but the Tissot wins hands down.

Disagree! Sometimes simple is better- with similar angular cases, the Tissot’s round bezel is better contrast lying over those angles. The CW bezel has all those angles, on top of case’s angles…. Same with dial hands and markers- simple accentuates the underlying dial, vs distract from it

While the CW may have a better bracelet and finishing, it looks bloated and over designed. The PRX is a wonderful demonstration of proportions and restraint from the case design to the dial design. Overall the PRX looks much more composed and coherent piece at half the price.

The hour markers on the CW12 look too big for the face. Everything else on it looks better than the PRX. I don’t like the PRX hands. I have a Tissot Gentleman Powermatic and those hands look excellent. For some reason the PRX hands look cheap and flimsy. Both watches look great. If the hour markers on the CW12 were slightly smaller it would be perfect. If the hands on the PRX looked a little nicer, it would be perfect. Tissot is a bigger brand, likely better options for service and warranty issues, if they arise. Plus Tissot is a more recognizable brand. They are the official time sponsors of the NBA. Anyone who watches basketball knows Tissot. It is everywhere. Almost nobody will have any idea what Christopher Ward is… if name recognition means anything to you.

@@5taunchTissot made this design in 1979, so this new model is from their own past. It’s obvious that CW borrowed the PRX’s design, and while trying to improve upon it, managed to make a classic look fugly. Sometimes simple is better, like a smooth round bezel to contrast those underlying angular case lines. Compared to the CW’s overuse of angles- that bezel may look good to some, but certainly makes the look more sporty and less classy, thus less versatile. And compare the hands and indices on those dials- the Tissot’s are classic and great looking, and don’t distract from the gorgeous waffle dial. Whereas those on the CW are more sporty and aggressive. Even if you like them better than those on the PRX, you have to admit they don’t compliment the dial texture- rather, they distract… so, it’s over-styled.

Really no comparison, the 12 has the better bracelet which you would expect given the price premium. The PRX is great value but can't match CW in terms of quality.
