Great video and a great idea to give a quick sneak peek! I bet they get a great thrill from that! When my wife and I used to video weddings our clients often commented on a long wait in getting their photos from their photographer! I think the sneak peek is especially important these days in that it gives them something quickly for their social media posts. Great work Chris!

I always have such a hard time choosing what images to use for a sneak peek. I over think it for sure! Then I end up NOT doing a sneak peek because I take too long and I get frustrated. I'm hoping to do better at the next one... Thank you for this video Chris! This is awesome!! The Lightroom tips are great too!

@@ChrisTurnerPhotographer the first thing I did was map them out on a behringer midi controller for Lightroom. They look great. I’ve actually gone back to past weddings to re edit a few 😂😂

How do you import and organize the pictures when shooting 2 cameras in Lightroom? Thank you! have always had a problem when shooting 2 cameras (wide - tele ) and then organizing them in Lightroom, because, I want to have all of the pictures in the order they were taken so I can rate them and when exporting all of the pictures are going to be in order ; but Lightroom puts the ones with the wide angle first then the tele after all of those

Synchronise the camera clocks. Sort by time taken.

You mentioned you use auto white balance through the day. Do you find it easier than just setting one white balance all day?

Yeah I mean it doesn’t really matter cause I’m shooting raw, I find auto pretty decent otherwise I’ll set it to like 5500k and just leave it. No set rule

Increase the memory if you can. Buy an EXTERNAL SSD with read speed of 1050 and DO NOT have chrome open when editing! or at last no more than 2 tabs.

Hey man I always export at 75% I’ve done heaps of tests and that seems to be the sweet spot where you can’t see any difference at all (print or digital) and small file size

@@ChrisTurnerPhotographer THANK YOU! I learned two new things today: 75% quality is enough and the straighten tool (Shift + T). I am in the middle of the editing from a townhall wedding where the lines were not exactly straight so THANKS again! :)

Very nice video. Like you simple editing style. I will try this out the next wedding including your presets. May I ask - How do you share your sneak photos? And: do you use auto white balance on your Sony? I feel, it works really great on ma A9 (artificial lights are worst scenario). I love preview photos. I do the same. I ask the couple if I can send per whatsapp since that is all they will typically do the day after the wedding (sending those photos to family and friends or setting up a status photo)

I use Pixieset to deliver them. And yeah I usually use auto white balance otherwise I use kelvin if it’s freaking out.

I don’t understand the question? Generally I’ll just try expose right in the middle, not blowing out any highlights is my main goal

@@ryanblack9916 my best advice is to get to know your sensor and just balance right on the edge, like you don’t wanna over expose but too dark and you’ll get lots of noise. So yeah kinda in the middle but watching the highlights.

I sold my GM and bought the Tamron. The GM is a tiny bit better but it depends what your using it for. You saw the images. It’s plenty sharp enough

Hi Chris! I bought your presets. But the settings don't match what you show here. For you blacks is 40 for me 17, vibrance for me is -7, in fact all the settings are different and from what I noticed in you the blue channel is kept, for me it brings out a lot. Why?

😱Hey friend, next, I also have these presets that you have, but you have to explain how to build it from scratch without needing additional presets, and there you explain them, not like this, make a few moves from there. set your preset, that's how they do all the scans, I need to teach them that buying them is the simplest thing, don't make videos just to get clicks and take up people's time.😭☹

Firstly, appreciate you buying them. Secondly, why would I upset all my supporters that have purchased the preset by showing everyone else how to make them free. That makes no sense. Lastly. This is what people ask for, as you can see in the comments, you don’t have to watch it. And these videos get terrible clicks. I make them because people ask. If I wanted to make videos for clicks I’d make click bait videos on gear

@@ChrisTurnerPhotographer I agree that people ask but they don't find the right choice, better tell them buy this preset and in your scenes it changes a little depending on the environment. and I wonder why you keep asking why you can't find the choice. I'm sorry that you are not the only one, they are better on KZfaq, they make explanations and after an hour and at the end of the video, they finish the editing, we put a preset and now it's ok. I still have a problem?
