Low key I feel like Silva is down played a lot. He’s probably the I my person to ever fight chrollo twice. Also the first time he killed another spider even tho we don’t know who it was they had to be strong enough for him to tell his family never to take a job involving them again. But he killed 1 and still fought Silva and made it out alive. That’s pretty impressive

I think everyone is underestimating Chrollo by pointing to the amount of time he spent gathering abilities for the first Hisoka fight. Yes he took a while to get all of the abilities he wanted but that was to GUARANTEE victory. He completely dominated that fight, Hisoka was constantly on the back foot and barely got any significant hits in on Chrollo. Unless you think that Hisoka would manhandle Silva as well, who Chrollo has fought multiple times without significant prep time, there's no way this fight is a blowout in Hisoka's favor

I feel like there has to be some sort of cross over with the troupe and Gyro at Meteor city. Chrollo is the only character I can see from the troupe having any sort of interesting interaction with Gyro, maybe some dead troupe members to set him off down that world ending path? Although unless the troupe is getting off the boat before the dark continent, im not sure how any of them are making it back to Meteor city

Chrollo with the properties of both Rubber and Gum is terrifying but Hisoka definitely has the edge over him when they fight again depending on how many legs he takes out before hand

I never understood the whole “Hisoka is stronger than Chrollo without prep time” narrative from what I’ve interpreted from the series Hisoka looks at Illumi as an equal, a rival in strength and ability with Hisoka only marginally outclassing Illumi, but Illumi did state one time that he’d kill Hisoka right there on the spot. Normally I don’t pay much attention to statements like that made by characters but Illumi is a trained assassin taught how to judge whether or not a battle could be won it was ingrained so much so that he put a needle in Killuas brain to program it to think like him. So I don’t think Illumi would say that unless he was fairly confident he’d be able to take Hisoka down. Either way the series definitely portrays them as about Equal. I highly doubt Illumi is stronger than Silva or even Zeno he maybe beats one off them with extremely high difficulty but 2 v 1 against dad and grandpa? Illumi gets stomped and if him and Hisoka are at least portrayed as equal then, well you know the rest. Hisoka gets stomped too. You know who did 2 v 1 the current and former head of the Zoldyck family. Chrollo and not only did he not get stomped and hold his own but Zeno himself said had Chrollo been serious he’d have killed him. So off that alone you should be able to tell who’s stronger between Hisoka and Chrollo

Have we ever considered that Hisoka and Kurapika might be working together? This kinda just hit me as you were talking about Hisoka senselessly killing off two of the Troupe... Kurapika doesn't have any reason to be against Hisoka. Hisoka isn't an actual member of the Troupe, and the two have, technically speaking, worked together in quite a few instances. Have they been working together the entire time?

Chrollo stealing bungee gum will result to Hisoka's death since bungee gum is the one that is pumping his heart at this point but if post mortem nen made it that bungee gum is only needed to "restart" the heart and not needed now since it is already pumping, that could be possible to be stolen without killing Hisoka.

In Hisoka's origin story, Moritonio mentions another person being able to replicate his ability which is speculated to be Ging, so I would love for Hisoka to meet with Ging and see what they can do in the dark continent

Chrollo didn't necessarily need to make a plan to win. He made a plan for a 100% guaranteed victory. a non planned fight can only be a 95% chance of victory for all we know. In a Nen battle it's always best to make sure every % counts cause even the simplest of mistakes can spell death. Also if Chrollo and Hisoka do fight again, Chrollo will win again because he's Ultimately Kurapika's antagonist, NOT Hisoka's.

I really hope that Chrollo will not be the only surviving member of the Phantom Troup. I'd love to see some good fights or at least more screentime from members like Machi and Feitan for instance

In the same bunch of chapters Togashi introduced the idea of Chrollo being able to keep powers after the owners death 'somehow', I think that it might be something to do with WILLINGLY giving over your hatsu to Chrollo. That might fit the bill for emotions strong enough to invoke Nen after death because you would have to have absolute trust in Chrollo to do that.

I'm still pissed that Hisoka never affixed his bungee gum to Chrollo when he launched his blind spot counter attack with the doll head. That should've killed Chrollo's chances to flee and reset up his plan. I think Hisoka is going to win, because the main reason he lost last was underestimating and his nen got stronger after his death.

Honestly Hisoka Knows exactly how Chrollo's powers works so it is probably impossible for chrollo to stewal his ability since he simply has to not repeat 1b "Answering a question about his Nen" to make it impossible for Chrollo to steal his ability's. That is one of Chrollos abilitys greatest weaknesses. That if you simply not give any of your nen secrets to him, he can't steal your power. It is just perfect for him, he needs to use His charisma and word choice to get you to slip up and let his ability work.

i have a theory and i think the whole phantom troupe will die except Chrollo. The first scene of Chrollo in the black Whale is a foreshadowing because 1) Togashi show us the number of 37564 in japanese and it means « they will all die » 2) The second pics is with the cockroach and if you pay attention the cockroach is used by Kurapika i think it means that Kurapika has a connection with the death of brigade 3) Chrollo Clothes. When he appeared in the chapter 366 he don’t have the same clothes than usual. And when he reappared with all the phantom troupe the clothes is very different this is the classic chrollo 4) Hisoka once said that Chrollo is always with 2 Phantom troupe members but in the pics he was alone and he seems that he is depressed i don’t think this is because of the death of Sharnal And Kurotopi. All the phantom troupe will die except Chrollo

I can’t tell if Hisoka would like the idea of Chrollo taking his ability or not, I truly think it’s a coin flip. On another note I kinda wanna see some of the Troupe compare to what resides in the Dark Continent. Could be fun.

If Bungee Gum gets stolen from Hisoka he's slightly screwed since he's using Bungee Gum as a false arm AND leg right now. If he gets it stolen he's down an arm and a leg plus a huge amount of his tricks in combat involve his Gum. I could see Chrollo revealing another new Hatsu which lets him use more stolen skills at once, not a lectern like is suspected but something similar to Leol's IOUs where if he rips the ability's page out of his book it like starts to burn slowly and he gets to use the ability freely until the page is fully burnt at which point the ability returns to whoever he stole it from until he can steal it again.

I think this is a fight that can’t be predicted. Part of why the Succession War is so good is that it has so many moving parts that make you unable to see the full picture. We haven’t seen Hisoka get serious since fighting Chrollo, and we haven’t seen Chrollo fight at all since killing Hisoka. As far as I remember at least.

People keep bringing up that Chrollo ran for a year to plan. But we don’t know what he was doing in that time or how long he was planning for. Remember, not only are Nen abilities rare, but finding the ones you want would be difficult, people hide their abilities often. Chrollo could have come up with a plan in 5mins and then spent a year trying to find people with the perfect abilities to fit his plan. The Chrollo we see on the whale is one who is pushed to the edge, seeing him forced to come up with a plan which the powers he has could be interesting. There’s also the distinct possibility that Chrollo still has “Black voice”. The activation cost for Post Mortem Nen has not really been elucidated beyond strong feelings. While Kortopi probably died too quickly to feel strong feelings, Shalnark saw Kortopi’s head before he was killed, this could have activated Post Mortem Nen. Alternatively it could be more in relation to Chrollo. The only confirmed ability Chrollo still has whose owner has died is “The Sun and Moon”, that one belonged to a Meteor city elder. It’s possible the elder voluntarily gave Chrollo his ability and, if that’s true, maybe that’s why Chrollo still has the ability even after the elder’s death. If that’s the case Chrollo might still have “Black Voice” and “Gallery fake”, since both abilities were volunteered to him. I think the second theory is less likely, but I’m harping on about this because I think it’d be interesting to see an intensified “Black Voice”, I wanna see autopilot again.

Keep in mind that Chrollo fulfilled all the requirements during their fight I think. Although I wonder how useful bungee gum would be for Chrollo. It looks like a relatively easy ability to reproduce even without skill hunter. The strength of bungee gum relies in its user, which I have no doubt Chrollo could also be a master, just not as proficient as Hisoka. Besides, Chrollo won’t need that to beat Hisoka. He is more than strong enough to do that already. I said what I said.

This would NEVER happen in character, especially at this point. Chrollo and Hisoka have one goal and that’s kill murdering each other in the most brutal fashion, there will be very little talking in a rematch, also Hisoka has been watching Chrollo for years, he may not know all of his abilities but he knows that he can’t play around with Chrollo, he has to go for the kill and Chrollo pissed him off just enough in the first fight so that’s exactly what the killer clown is going to do

I feel like Bungee Gum is a very very specific type of Hatsu that's closely tied to the user; tied so close that Hisoka is the only one with knowledge and experience of it's properties to know fully know how to use it. Chrollo might not know how to actually use the ability to it's full potential and he might not know it's weaknesses and blind spots. Hisoka knows all that.

It’ll be a lot harder this time. Hisoka has changed a lot. He used to always play fair, never disguise himself, explain his ability, and overall just not use underhanded tactics. That much has changed. He ambushed Kortopi and Shalnark, disguised himself, and no longer toys with his opponents in every fight.
