I was there live when they performed/recorded this! If you thought it looked great on TV, it was 100% better when the chrome, rainbow glare, and P-Thug's sparkling durag was blessing your eyes!!!

Years ago, my youngest sister was working as a stage organizer and met Chromeo. This was during their " Fancy Footwork " era. She told me that David was not talkative. He was too focused on being " cool " at the time but Patrick was lively and glad to talk with her. After seeing David in recent interviews, I think he was having a rough night. Their sound has not lost its vibrancy and they are still great performers. Keep your eyes on these funky boys.

Hey Jimmy. I have to say "I love your show". I just finished watching Willy Wonka with my grandson a couldn't help but notice that lil Charlie says "look over there" and Grandpa Says " I never seen anybody with an orange face". That guitar is a nice prop. Didn't hear it once during the entire track. Was the horn section even real? Or was that just a projected image? The song was catchy, but I'd love to have heard it with a full band actually playing.

Lol yes the Horn section is real. You can clearly hear it in the video. As far as the guitar, he is seen playing with it at 2:22 2:32 2:38 2:46 but for some reason has low volume and you can't hear it well, unless the output on the guitar sound is different.

Chromeo are anything but fake musicians, they just have 10 instruments going at once so they sample depending on the song. Dave rips that guitar through the majority of their live shows
