It is obvious when you hear Christian Von Koenigsegg speak, that he is not just the "figurehead" owner of a company that sits in an office and does deals. . He's also not just a "Salesman" trying to push his product. . talking the talk . . . but not delivering.. This guy know and understands EVERY tiny aspect of every nut and bolt. Every stitch of the upholstery. Every engineering specification of the motor, gearbox, suspension and bodywork. Every scientific drag ratio of the frame and exterior surfaces. Every financial aspect of production and sales. Every marketing aspect.. He is totally passionate and knowledgable about every detail of his cars. . AND he is so polite, friendly, engaging and well-spoken that he makes EVERYONE feel like his friend. He is always humble about the achievements of his company, his cars, their world records and his own success. He deserves respect...

Koenigsegg really is one of the most incredible car manufacturers and Christian is always so inspiring with his words and the passion he portrays! Also as a Tesla fan, I couldn't help but think about the timeline of the two companies in their infancy whilst I watched this video and it struck me when you started talking about records being broken and boundaries being pushed constantly, that this model from Koenigsegg, would have been such an inspiration for Tesla to push through their battles as an upcoming new start manufacturer and succeed. Then it was clear once I reached the segment on the Regera, just how much impact Tesla has had on CvK's train of thought to create that instant delivery sensation with a proper combustion connected audible. I love so much the engineering efforts of both these companies and Koenigsegg truly is one of the most inspiring manufacturers right now. I'm so excited to see the rest of the chronicles! "Unless you can slip your tires at your top speed your car is underpowered."!!!! This must be the greatest statement in the history of the automobile. Christian von Koenigsegg is my hero!!!

Christian is the savior of ICE in this ERA. People like him and Mate rimac are the modern day CEOs who have truly build automobile companies from the scratch by the sheer passion they have for fast cars. This series is going to be MEGA. Mr.Jww should start a podcast and talk with such geniuses about the cars and engineering they are putting out. Amazing work James! Keep it up!

I remember watching the CCX's first appearence on Top Gear, and the Stig lost control of it and sent it flying into some tires. Jeremy then went on to say that because of that, Koenigsegg took the car away and fitted a rear wing to assist in downforce, because "that was the reason for loss of control". They then brought the car back for a second time, breaking the lap record. Therefore, "Top Gear assisted in the design of the car". Only for Christian to come out and say, in actual fact, the reason for the off was because they hadn't fully prepared the cars suspension. The rear wing was just added as an after-thought. This is what I remember, but if anyone knows more, feel free to add or correct. Top channel by the way James, I wish you all the success in the world for where this is going. The last time I was this excited about car journalism was in the early days of Evo magazine, and that was 20 years ago!

BTW this is best thing you have ever done on youtube, maybe best thing anyone has done or will do on anymedia.

At the start of the video I was not expecting to feel so emotional at the end. I love cars, it’s probably my very favorite thing of this weird thing we call life, and I am so glad this man exists. The things he has done are groundbreaking, and I love the stories and how he discusses the details of his cars. He has shown us what is possible and how beautiful cars can be (both technically as well as visually). I could only hope to own one some day; it would be as much a purchase as an endorsement. I hope they continue to be ever so succesful and do great things. This goes without saying but; LOVE THE SERIES!!! cant wait James :) great content!!!
