Funny thing about Kurt Vonnegut: He appeals to us when we're young, but eventually you just get fed up with him. I haven't enjoyed reading him since I read Galapagos, some 25 years ago. I recently tried reading Cat's Cradle and found it profoundly annoying, quite awful, in fact. Just lost patience with all his shenanigans. Same thing with Hocus Pocus; couldn't finish it, but that was so long ago that I can't remember why. Outgrew him, I guess...

I find with Kurt that if I have too much of him, I get sick of is 'old fartiness' as ot's been called sometimes. But I still really love S5.
