I agree. They took a legendary OST and did their own take, which sounds just as good as the originals. I would love to hear the entire soundtrack done by these guys!

I will never not be absolutely floored by this performance, and how flawlessly they were able to keep time on such difficult subdivisions without a metronome or even a monitor in their ears to keep the pulse- just listening closely and following each other, complete and total trust in each other, making it look so effortless by laughing and playing around as they play. I love these guys so much and I've only known them for 3 minutes and 53 seconds

i remember when 2005 and 2006 i used to listen this song to make me running in the morning and evening, everyday, because of its tempo and cheerful music, thanks guys for bring that memories back to me now,, at that time my weight is 65 kg but now i am over than 100 kg, that's insane,, with these new version, i will start running again tomorrow, i know its hard but i need stay healthy for my family,, thank you Yasunori Mitsuda, Squaresoft, Chrono Cross, and Square Enix,, you all amazing,,

I just discovered this and wow, I am blown away. Yasunori Mitsuda's music has an almost spiritual feel to me. It resonates with me in such a raw, emotional way I can't describe it. This version very much does justice to it!

You'll wait forever there's no way Masato Kato is ever going to bother explaining the myriad of plotholes left hanging at the end of Chrono Cross for a sequel to ever come out specially now it's been more than 20 years since Cross's release. Regardless this music is beautiful! :)

@@TheEmeraldEclipse There are indeed many similarities, so you weren't far off! All regions have their own distinct music traditions. Traditional music from Shetland for example is interestingly somewhere between Scottish and Norwegian music. And the west coast of Denmark is closer to music from the British Isles than Sweden. Etcetera. We are a Danish/Swedish band and write and play music from all the Nordic countries, and love playing music from your part of the world also :-)
