Bulgari explained in 3 minutes. The brand was founded by Greek silversmith Sotirio Bulgari, and has since grown to become the third largest jewelry producer in the world. Sotirio opened his first shop in Rome in 1884, and focused mainly on decorative silver pieces, eventually moving into precious stones and jewels when his sons took over the business in 1932. Drawing on a market interest in snake-inspired jewelry sparked by Queen Victoria’s engagement ring, Bulgari adopted the serpentine motif into many of its designs. In 1948, the Italian brand completed its first iteration of the Serpenti - A coiled and ornate piece of high jewelry that concealed a small watch within its head. These hand wound calibers were provided to Bulgari by several leading houses of the time, including Jaeger-LeCoultre, Piaget, and Vacheron Constantin.

It is the real innovation in the last 30 years: Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani developed Gerald Genta’s ideas in an amazing, unique way. He just bring the Octo design to another level, he’s a genius! To me the Octo Finissimo is a new standard, just like Royal Oak and Nautilus but better :)

Bulgari is on my list to get a time peace. I like the Bulgari Bulgari and the Octo Finissimo. The Octa Roma and Diagono are good entries, but i feel more for a Bulgari Bulgari and the Octo Finissimo. Of course the titanium with only the small seconds. But first i want to get my first Montblanc.

I am bulgarian,i can tell you sotir (sotirio) is a bulgarian name and i think this man that created the brand is bulgarian,there are bulgarians living in italy since the 7 century or may be he emigrated when bulgaria was still under ottoman occupation

Seems to be more interested in the investment potential than the watch as a watch. Oh he dresses it up but I have a feeling that this company makes video to shift stock it has too much of. The Octo is an amazing line and makes Trollex look like the overpriced garbage they are

I generally am not a fan of Bulgari designs, particularly the way the brand name is repeatedly used as part of the design. However, I am drawn to the Bulgari 'Ergon' watches. I think a 35mm would fit my small wrist well. I have added it to my Chronos21 watch list.

Possibile che un marchio come Chrono24, primo portale per compravendita di orologi di medio alto ed alto livello, che privilegia i rivenditori italiani nella lista “importanza” dei suoi fruitori, non pensa al mercato italiano? Appassionati esteri va bene; ma chi non mastica l’inglese , deve accontentarsi della traduzione scadente ed approssimativa dei sottotitoli generati da KZfaq? Perché non tradurre in italiano, anzi, addirittura doppiare il parlato del presentatore? Grazie!

The second vowel is a "ə" in English. In Italian is pronunced as it's spelled.

I never pronounce the "B" at the start. In Greek, a "B" or greek "β" actually produces the sound of a "V" and as the original founder placed a V after the B, BVLGARI, I beleive he intended for the brand to be pronounced Vulgari, as his surname back in greece was Βουλγαρις or Vulgaris which in Greek means Bulgarian, which also points to his most likely original family lineage.
