The year is 2023 and we now FINALLY have complete box sets for the 1987 series, the 2003 series, and even the 2012 series. Took them long enough.

The quality of the TMNT 2003 dvd complete series is bad. The best way to view the 2003 series are the digital versions.

I can't speak for the other series, but now in 2023, the '03 show has _finally_ gotten a full, single DVD boxset containing the entire series.

This is a trip to watch in 2023. Especially now that both the 1987 series and the 2003 series are available complete on DVD. That said some of the issues mentioned here are still legit, like the whack episode order for the 1987 series.

Damn...has it been 10+yrs?? I remember trying to get these dvds one by one at ToysRus when they were new on shelves. Time fliessssss! Now we have a complete series box set. The 200x series was a Nightmare to get.

2:27 "Planet of the Turtleoids" 1&2 and "Once Upon A Time Machine" were released on DVD. I have it. Those episodes are on disc 23 of the "Complete Classic Series Collection" that came in a case shaped like the turtle van. While the episodes are wildly out of order, they are included. Edit: seasons 9 & 10 of the 1987 series are also included.

Please note that this video, over a decade old, is a little outdated now as the complete 87 TMNT series has been released on dvd, though the 03 show DVD is still a problem. Also I happily am one of the few who own TMNT 03 season 2 part 2.

Thankfully things updated with the 1987 cartoon. Season 9 and 10 have been released with Once upon a Time Machine and Planet of the turtleoids. Season 3 dvds have been re released into one and now there exists a box set of the whole series.

The OG 87 turtles has a complete collection box set. It looks like the Turtle Van. That has Seasons 9 and 10 on it, and every episode is in order.

Reminds me of the X-Men (90's version) DVD Volumes. When Season 3 started, many episodes were out of order and they decided to release the DVDs the same way. So some Season 3 episodes are in Volumes 4 & 5. You have to do your research to find out which episode occurs before/after others.

One thing he didn’t mention about volumes 2-6 is that they crammed 12 or 13 episodes onto one disc which is a bit much as it means having to Compress the episodes thereby effecting the picture quality somewhat especially with the scenes with fast paced animation. Also the season 4 set for the 2003 series didn’t have all episodes from that season. Only the episodes that were not on the season 3 volumes

I agree 100% I love my physical games & movies/ TV series. I take care of them the best I can, and if need be are 100% rip-able. I like digital media as well, but there are still issues with Digital-Only content. Like a persons WiFi not connecting,They somehow get locked out of their streaming accounts & PSN & XBL Accts. Etc

I never understood why they couldn't seem to just get the episode order right for the 2003 and 1987 TMNT series DVDs, its gotta be a real pain to go through those and try to find out which is which rather than just being able to watch it all in order right away. As someone who's always been a big fan of the 2003 TMNT series I'm sad that the DVDs are so inaccessible...at least I can watch through streaming services but having it physically would be great.

the 03 dvds remind me of those anime dvds from around the same time that would also just put 4 or 5 episodes on there. I wanna say that was intentional since the 03 series takes alot of visual cues and influences from anime so maybe they did it as an homage to that but they would be giving them too much credit

Wow I'm glad I never felt to collect these DVDs lol. But I got some other shows on DVD and it's always a mess. I don't know about the US but here in the EU they like to do different collections of the same show. Also it's a pain buying single seasons while a show is still running, it's usually better to wait until the end end then buy a collection because they are usually more consistent... usually ... lol

I wound up making my own DVD sets, buying the different volumes and buying multi-disc DVD cases and printing custom covers. For the 80s show, the 03 show, and the '12 show. Then.... Complete boxed sets of the 80s and '12 shows came out. I bought those. Hopefully the 03 show gets a complete boxed set release one day.

Wait until he hears about mortal kombat 1, the newest entry in the Mortal Kombat franchise which also serves as a reboot for the series. Not to be confused with the 2011 reboot, mortal kombat, or the 1992 original, also called mortal kombat.

Thankfully that Problem with 87 series is resolved with a Big Purple Box Set with all The Seasons in Every Disk! Put into together. But Season 1 Disk still has the Problems of Jumping to Season 10 Early with the Episodes. Better makes plans what your aiming for based on the list and Move Forward, Turtle Power! Sadly theres no Complete DVD Boxset for all TMNT 03 Series, But Only on Bluray!

When they pull episodes it's generally because back in the day sa censorship used to rule in the concept of suggestive information and information that was conducive to certain types of behaviors and because of that like where I live in Indiana we didn't get a lot of movies or video games and we got most of them and when we did get them they were different Like I've seen some movies recently that reality we got a totally different version of that movie in my state

I have a dvd box where someone somehow got the only thee episodes on disc two obviously in wrong order. Case of the killer pizzas Enter the fly Shredders return Stockman is a pretty clear indication that someone effed up.

If this was updated today, you could get the whole series in the party wagon dvd set or the standard series release. The dvds are in the same order, but it's not as confusing as it used to be. They do have an updated sheet with all the information for the episodes. Please update this.
