The katak symbolizes purity and compassion and is presented at many ceremonial occasions, including births, weddings, funerals, graduations, and arrival or departure of guests.

& for offering to Rinpoche & high lama's even their kudung one can combine all five colour khadhar into one & offer it,which represents the colours of khandro de nga the (five dakinis)

5 colour khada represents khandronde nga five-coloured Khada is also valued as a gift, representing the sky, cloud, earth, water, and Fire. Those coloured Khada can only be presented on special occasions.
