Nearly every actor in the whole world smokes! They have to wait so much inbetween the shootig of different scenes and then there is always someone that smokes and one day you can't resist anymore.

@Hahren I didn't even notice that detail. I was too busy staring in awe at Yvonne Strahovski/Sarah Walker. Maybe he is a casual smoker?

What do you not understand? This was filmed on set. The actors in question were not shooting so they were no on set.
