His "B" sides of those 50's CHESS records are gold... one side was a song geared to the record buying public, but the flips were incredible where Phil and Leonard let Chuck put whatever he wanted on the flip. My favorite is "Havana Moon"

Man always said that. Elvis don't deserve the title. Hail to the real king!
@johnconway9882 Жыл бұрын
The titles "King" and "Father" are not necessarily the same. The title "Father" implies a claim to the founding of a musical genre. Indeed, Chuck Berry is worthy of that title. "King" on the other hand implies either dominance or conquest. Michael Jackson was known as "the King of Pop" even though there were plenty of pop stars that came before him. When Elvis arrived on the scene he dominated and conquered. You guys need to think things out and get your emotions in check.

Be careful, there are some verses of Muddy Waters' " Country boy". Mr Berry was somebody .... unexpected. Missing him so much, wich is rare with somebody not nice like that with fans. But... missing him so much.

The real Ferrizzle. No wonder Chuck was bitter the way The Beach Boys and the Stones got rich off his music while he got hooked up and sent to prison. They wouldn’t have done to Brian Wilson

No they just kept Brian in a medicated state and stifled his creativity for years… nice to point fingers but do your “Rock n Roll” history first…
