The fact that he was 70+, the fact that it was Bruce’s show, the fact that he was the star regardless, the fact that 10s of thousands of people were still singing and rocking out to his song 40 years later, all that would be beyond anyone could hope for. But then he did that duck walk and crossed the line. No one can be that cool. It defies reality

I remember seeing a video of a concert in Russia and really wasn't sure it was a good idea to get tickets for his concert in Paris in May 2013...and then it got cancelled so that took care of the problem.

RIP Mr Berry, a legend, a pioneer, an inspiration! -> what made this concert so unique and god damned perfect, was the opening band: "Fats Domino" ‼️‼️‼️ ... there he was... sitting at the piano, fingers full of rings. Bruce opened and played with Chuck way back in 1973. This performance sadly, Bruce has said was one of his least favorite. Direct quote from both Bruce and Little Steven, they didn't want to be there. Chuck and Jerry Lee fought backstage about who would play first. Chuck kept trying to change keys in the song, that's why Bruce was studying him so much. Still, love both Bruce and Chuck. Rock wouldn't be the same without either.
