Chuck Colson, was an American attorney and political advisor who served as Special Counsel to President Richard Nixon from 1969 to 1970. He served time in a federal prison camp for a Watergate-related crime. After his incarceration, Chuck felt led by God to honor a promise he made to remember his fellow prisoners and their families. That promise grew into Prison Fellowship® and the world's largest family of prison ministries.

'When Christ calls a man, he bids him come and die.' Bonhoeffer's profound words in 'The Cost of Discipleship' How does this challenging call to self-sacrifice resonate with your understanding of discipleship? Share your thoughts and experiences below 🤔✨

If CHRISTIANITY costs us not everything, then we are truly not Christians. I am an exMuslim from Pakistan. Now a Christian. I am settled in a place away from Pakistan now. Turning to Jesus and reading the Bible secretly in my bedroom cost me my family, my girl love, my college graduation, my severeed left hand (by lslamic radicals) and my dreams of becoming a pilot. Now I have a wonderful new girl in my life, a job that pays me more than what a pilot would earn, church family, 2 lovely labradors, 1 hamster, my Bible, ABOVE ALL my JESUS CHRIST. I'm grateful I have my right hand to type this message. ✝️🙌🏻

Great video! The all-time, best-selling book has been read by too few. If we have not suffered with Christ in exposing darkness, we will not be raised with him.

This is a really good teaching. I agree with this wholeheartedly. Try to fully listen to comprehend what is being said and choose to receive what is being said IN JESUS' NAME. AMEN. DON'T let the spirit of offense or any other type of demonic force/influence steal from you what GOD is trying to teach through these individuals. I PRAY YOU ALL'S STRENGTH IN THE LORD IN JESUS' NAME. THE NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES. AMEN. ❤❤❤

I must respectfully disagree with Mr. Colson's statement in minute 5 about "getting something for free" and . . . I am a 65 year old American. For 4.5 decades, I dismissed all things spiritual. Yeshua of Nazareth "killed me with kindness" by showering me with so many graces/blessings, including some bona fide miracles, that I had no choice to climb on board, surrendering all to Him. The prevenient grace was free. It was so overwhelming and generous that I could not dismiss it. Yes, I believe my case to be rare, but all the same “true.”

Chuck already had the smell of post-modernism in his nose in 2011. Nothing today would surprise him.

Why "sideshow Bob"? He seemed to be a very committed Christian.
I met God in prison. He proved the devil was a liar.
