Funny thing is, at the Chuck E. Cheese we had near us, they just let the person in the Chuck E. Cheese costume roam about even if the animatronic was performing. It was kinda funny and I remember seeing some kids so confused about that.

When I was like 4, I had my birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese and I did the ticket blaster. Me and my dad went in and I was wearing a Princess dress from like Walmart. So I used the long part of the dress as a bag to carry more tickets. Me dad caught like twice of what I got. We came out of that ticket pod and I felt like the queen. Everyone was cheering for us and I was so amazing. I walked up to the front desk like I was VIP or something, and was like “I got the tickets now give me that stuffed puppy!” We we’re about 100 tickets off so we had to plays some games to get more. I was waiting in line after we got them, and some other innocent little girl got the puppy I wanted. I sat there and cried my heart out for like 10 minutes til they let me have one thing I wanted for free. I got the giant blanket and instantly changed my mood. We got pizza and we left acting like I didn’t just scream into getting I giant prize. :)

When I was very young I visited Florida to see my grandparents. My grandmother ended up taking me to Chucky Cheese when we were passing it and I was excited but I also had no siblings so I was basically alone. My grandmother couldn't due much due to her age so she was down and just watched me. Some kids were celebrating and hanging out by the stage area where a party was going on or when the animatronics we're singing and having fun. My antisocial little ass just didn't go over, not to mention anxiety so it was a big no no. But for some odd reason, the guy in the chucky suit came over to me and threw tickets all around me, a LOT of tickets. It was a nice gesture and I thanked him, still remember that to this day:)

Story Time! So this was when I was younger and I went to Chuck E. Cheese’s for my birthday. I was actually so terrified of the guy in the mascot suit that I made my cousin sit in the birthday chair and I sat in hers just so I could see the guy coming up. I still didn’t like him there. I hated it the whole time he was there and we never went back for my birthday ever again. If we do, it’s usually just to play the arcade games and then leave. (P.S. the animatronic and the dude in the mascot suit were BOTH visible at all times.)

Funny thing is now most locations that still have animatronics do nothing to hide Chuck when the suit is out. Curtains are no longer used on stages with the band, and although stages with just Chuck do use curtains still, it’s only ones installed before 2005 and even most of those ones have the curtain closings disabled

The only time the Chuck E at the one I went to would come out, he'd be basically throwing tickets for the kids. Eventually he'd get to the part of the stage in front of the curtains (that or they didn't care I'd there were 2 chuckies, could go either way since the designs didn't fully match) and he'd throw all the rest of them, and kids would literally fight over them. Like, insulting, kicking, yelling, snatching..It was every kid for themself. One birthday I brought my friend who was very strong and laughed if she hurt people, like once she strangled me and laughed while I was catching my breath after being let go, that was fun /s

When i was a kid i was always scared of chuck E. I went to the stage where chuck E. And i soon learned that one of the animatronics eye was broken and it looked like it was looking at me .... and the voice box broke down making his voice began to slow down and break and then stoped i was terrified.
