I have been to Macon, GA in 2019 to explore my father's college known as Mercer. I think I remember passing that location but its been a while. It is not far from my house in Montgomery AL. But it will still take a few hours to Drive there

I went to Harlem on 2021 (125th Street and Manhattan) and I saw that iconic CEC that I went in 2017 gone. I had memories and photos with it. It even had a Studio C stage. I believe it closed after COVID-19. I had many memories and I hated it being gone, People in the Harlem side has went to the CEC. I went back in February of this year and its still gone.

The ones with the old signage from the 90’s are repurposed into new stores, but the ones with the checkerboard style from the 2000’s are abandoned. Is it much more effort to repaint the checkerboard facade?
