A superb lecture! However, I think Occam's Razor applies to many of Chuck's conjectures: Every letter or word in Hebrew has a numerical equivalent: 153 fish = "The sons of the living God." Also, Mary was weeping, unable to see Jesus thru tears, but recognized His voice. They knew it was the risen Christ awaiting them on shore because they believed in the Resurrected Christ & no impostor. In heaven, we will see our Lord in His Glorious body, not as a bloody, slain lamb. With scars, perhaps. Without a beard, perhaps. Just mentioning alternatives. God bless all who love our Lord & Savior...

Can anyone share an opinion, John 21:20,21 at 30:07 in the video. When I read this, I hear Peter asking about the fate of the one who betrays Christ. Missler and every commentary I can find, say Peter is asking about John's fate. I don't understand why. Peter firsts asks Christ, "Which is he that betrayeth thee?" (There's no response from Christ recorded.) Peter's very next question is, "What shall this man do?" (What will become of him, how will he die...?) What in Scripture indicates that Peter is now referring to John? What am I missing that shows me that Peter was talking about the fate of John and not Judas - the betrayer? Any help is appreciated!

Sheri, I had to read that twice, too. The text is describing John as the apostle who leaned on Jesus breast and asked Him, "who betrayed you?" , instead of just naming John. See, John wrote (was divinely inspired) this gospel, but does not refer to himself by name in it, rather he describes himself as, "......the one who Jesus l Ioved" and the other apostle who ran to the empty tomb, giving you a hint who he is talking about.
