I remember reading about a story Chuck told back in the 90's. After working all day filming 'Walker, Texas Ranger' he went to a roadhouse for a beer after a long day. A local approached him and said "That's my chair, buddy." Chuck obliged and moved to a different chair with no protest. Chuck then took off his sunglasses and hat with the local recognizing him which made him ask Chuck "Why didn't you just kick my ass?" Chuck replied that violence should be avoided and used only as a last resort. They ended up talking and becoming friendly.

My Sabumnim, Bob Burbidge, instructor of Tang Soo Do, trained under Chuck and got his 3rd Degree Black Belt from him. Bob managed one of Chucks schools also. Bob had won American and International championships. He has passed on and is in the Black Belt Hall of Fame. That’s as close as I got to Chuck. It was still a great experience as Bob and I would train together too.

I think that ties into what Chuck said about insecurity. If you are truly confident, as I imagine big muscular guys, and skilled martial artists are, you don't feel a need to "prove" you're a tough or strong guy. You KNOW it. If, on the other hand, you are insecure about yourself, you might almost constantly feel like you have to prove to everyone around you that you are tough. It's also true about bullying (not only physical bullying). Someone who bullies others, is either cripplingly insecure, or just a psychopath... Neither is a good state of mind.

@James Brice Agreed. But multiple tomes she was in his house. I didn't say he shoul've beat her but by some reports he ran away. I really don't blame him because who knows what she was capable of and he's in a difficult spot. I called him a wuss as a goof.
