I have seen this trend in all sports where the athletes are openly hostile to fans. This is an extreme example, but it is prevalent in all sports. It mostly manifests itself with athletes making mocking faces or gestures to fans. Yet, people still show up in droves.

Definitely getting sued for that one. The lady who was first hit with that ball wasn't expecting it and in turn didn't have time to brace for it's impact. I've actually seen people get concussions from that kind of an impact. And she appears very young and her unsuspecting, relaxed posture provided zero protection to the shock of that ball snapping her head. Earlier in the broadcast, Beverly was caught on camera having a sideline dispute with his coach. I don't read lips, but I read expressions and this went far beyond a disagreement with a coaching decision. There was disrespect written all over Beverley's face as he directed a parting shot and then, contemptuously, turned his back and walked away. If I were Doc Rivers, that would be the last coaching conversation I'd have with that guy.
