For those who don't know, Ernie's dad Ernie Johnson Sr was an MLB pitcher for the Miluakee Braves (Started when they were the Boston Braves and had retired before they became the Atlanta Braves). He went into sports broadcasting and one of Jr's first jobs was doing color commentary for Atlanta Braves games with his farther beside him.
