I'm loving this,....I can listen to this group sing all day! I'll take the old gospel songs over the new contemporary music any day of the week.

I'm with you!!! I don't care for contemporary, (JUST BEING HONEST). I LIKE SPIRITUAL, GOSPEL. SONGS AND MUSIC WHICH DOES BELONG IN ANY SETTING OF WORSHIP SND PRAISE TO GOD!!! 🙏🙏🙏 😀 Here is a quote I like, and I think you will too. I am glad they kept up the tradition. I have listened for years. I love the ones in the 50's to 70's. The originals can never be replaced.

My mother played CWG songs over and over back in the 1970s...they were a among her FAVs. Hence their music is etched in my memory.

The new blonde is Melissa Kemper unless you might be seeing Pe.nny Jo Shellnut. Penny used to fill in when Shaye couldn't be there. "The Gang" is the best, but has never been the same without Dave Emery, their wonderful bass singer.😐

Melissa blends in just great! All Chuck Wagon Groups had a great blend, Always had great singers, Can't say that about every group. And Chet can play that guitar like no other.

The Blonde Lady Is Mrs. Melissa Kemper Who was Sopranist Back In The Early 2000 's & left awhile in her Childrens Formative years; to be with them. JMHO, But Melissa is The Best Soprano with the Gang, Since Mrs. Rose Karnes. Melissa is from East Texas & is A very Nice & Friendly Christian Lady.

I'm 75 also and have loved the Chuck Wagon Gang for many years. But do you not remember Julie Hudson? She sounded the most like the original soprano. She is a beautiful Christian lady who believes every word she sings. And she can hit those high notes in the song "Higher" like no one else. I miss her and Dave. And don't forget Shaye, and Stan, whose harmony is what holds the group together and helps make The Chuck Wagon Gang the phenomenal gospel group it is.

I know this video was done several years ago but I’ll speak from the heart ❤️. I love them and the. love,joy , peace, and comfort they bring to my soul. I could tell you all the things that are troubles and health issues with me and my wife of 42 years. but the right proper thing that’s due is say Jesus you carryed us and built many bridges over troubled waters.you get all the praise, honor, raglory. Heavenly Father thank you saving my soul by your grace and the salvation work of thy son Jesus Christ.

The Gsng is STILL wonderful, and Melissa is quite good, but her voice doesn't "ring out" like Julir's did. Julie's voice had conviction - - - and she came out loud enough to hear it well. And one could tell, when she had a solo part, that she meant every word she sang.

That was a fabulous performance,as always,I've been a fan of the chuck wagon gang since the early eighties,when I came across an LP of theirs. Absolutely brilliant. However I've never been able to get a hold of their recordings. Where in Scotland can I get them.

You’ve lost that loving feeling. Your sound is jumpy and fast. If there was ever a Chuck wagon gang, this isn’t it. You sound like the oak ridge boys. You haven’t come close to the legacy of the real CWG. Give it up, you’re done. It doesn’t matter who you are related to, it’s all over and finished for all time. Time to pack up and scatter.
