That's what I love about this finale. The instant Chucky realises he's permanently stuck in the doll body, he's overcome with volcanic rage and only cares about killing Andy. Going as far as to tip off his hand and impale the bloody stump upon his knife just to make him more effective for killing the kid.

For so many years since I was a kid I thought Chucky was just some doll that came to life, then I start with this one somehow and then I realized it’s all voodoo magic and that he’s really a guy inside of him 😂 well, that and the things he said like “I’m not gonna spend the rest of my life as a plastic freak”, “I’m turning human again?”, and “If I don’t get out of this body soon I’m trapped in here” were a giveaway

The fact that when Chucky gets his arm ripped off and you can see real arteries and veins in his arms is quite scary as it shows chucky is basically a real person in a doll that the doll isn’t even just a doll but a human inside of a doll.

I find this kind of "chemical" horror very fascinating. Does anyone know of movies in a similar genre to this? Ones where the characters in a factory and exposed to dangerous conveyers, toxic plastics, or gasses or chemicals, etc.? As someone who's pretty repulsed by the idea of dying in a pile of molten plastic, or being implanted with machine parts, I just find it refreshingly and genuinely scary.
