I just got mine from second batch. Thinking of adding voice box, but on the back instead. Is the spine structure more in place to the back in order to fit the box. Want to press from behind rather then front side. Also did you manage to keep the cut out piece in tact or did u have to cut in pieces.

I put mine more to the left because Garrett says he puts it close to the heart

You did amazing work 😊👍 i wanna do it too but someone told me that the body of the doll is made with polyfoam (and it's a really cheapest foam ) when you cut a hole in the foam , it can expand over time . there are customers who already had a foam torn under chucky arm . so this material is not good enough . but only time will say . 😵

popcoren thanks. Foam can expand and from what I herd from Zima that its okay. I also didn’t research before I cut into chucky. It can expand but there is way to seal the body. I work at a paint company and gonna ask around if thee is a spray that can seal poly foam. I herd ppl do this and it works also the spray is clear. As soon as I find out I will definitely make a video on this issue and the spray

The foam is okay as long as the clothing stays covered . I have a Toys r Us Jeofrey doll made out of the same foam and hes lasted for over 33 yrs now . It also depends how you take care of him

@@popcoren7076 I looked into spray and the safe way to do this is not using the sealer spray. I have been told its not a good idea.. different types of spray can affect the look of the polyfoam and could damage it.. so its safe i keep my doll in my room with all my other dolls and collections..I do want to learn more about this polyfoam and how i can make my own chucky doll or any prop using this foam..time to hit the books lol

If I ever got a Trick or treat studios doll I would honestly send my good guy doll to you so you could put in the voice box because I don’t wanna ruin mine .

I Have a Toys R Us Jeofrey Doll with clothes on it .Its a Bendy from 1986 . its made out of foam . The body is unflawed because the clothing protects it So I say the foam is okay but, I wouldn't cut any holes in the doll .There are other ways to place the box without cutting him . you could have used a childs small t shirt with a panel sewn in the doll . Sorry but I wouldn't cut him and you just customized it from its original form so not a good idea

i think its an awesome idea..I done my research on the type of foam TOTS used and talked with Garrett Zima.. People are afraid to cut into it because ppl say the foam can expand and from what i hear from Zima and research i done on polyfoam it wont expand. but i hear you on the shirt idea..but i wanted it to be inside of the doll..

Honestly would be dope to have the battery pack empty , cause it still would be able to talk through the voicebox making it seem as if chucky is alive.

Are you going to have him naked the whole time? If not than who gives a F#$k. I just made the same cut with the same voice box and everything is perfect. You can throw him up and down in the air and that box is not coming out

Chris sflconstrictors Yes but what happens when the voice box Stopped working and they don’t sell them any more than you have a hole in your doll With a broken voice box

I sell a similar one on Etsy but it’s really slim so you don’t have to cut the doll.
