· Child's Play 2 (1990): The soul of serial killer Charles Lee Ray is still alive in the killer doll named Chucky and he continues his search for Andy to possess him and take over his body for revenge.
· Child's Play 3 (1991): Killer doll Chucky is back after eight years and now he is trying to possess another boy. Andy, Chucky's previous victim, is the only one who knows this and tries to stop the evil doll.
· Bride Of Chucky (1998): Chucky and Tiffany, two possessed dolls, head to New Jersey to look for the former's amulet that can help them regain their human form.
· Seed Of Chucky (2004): Glen visits Hollywood after learning that a movie is being made on the life of his dead parents, Chuck and Tiff. He then resurrects them to know them better but they succumb to their murderous ways.
· Curse Of Chucky (2013): Nica's sister, brother-in-law and their daughter Alice visit her after her mother's death. However, horror strikes when Nica realises that the doll Alice plays with is possessed.
· Cult Of Chucky (2017): Chucky, a killer doll, returns to haunt his victim Nica. He also wants to settle scores with his old enemy with the help of his ex-wife.
· Chucky Season 1 (2021): After a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begins to expose the town's hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies and allies from Chucky's past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll's untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.
· Chucky Season 2 (2022): Chucky is back! The notorious killer doll continues his onslaught of terror in Season Two of the hit horror series from franchise creator Don Mancini. This season finds Chucky hellbent on exacting revenge against teens Jake, Devon and Lexy, as well as his ex Tiffany, after they successfully thwarted his murderous plot in Season One. While Jake and Devon encounter trouble as a couple at their new Catholic school, Chucky embarks on a whole new killing spree, crossing paths with familiar franchise faces along the way.

Fun Fact: This "Chant" is a mixture of different labguages including French, Portuguese and many more. It has only been translated ONCE in the First Spanish Dub of the film back in 1988

Actually, in the first Chucky movies, he mentions words used in Portuguese, which I recognized because it's my native language. In the subsequent movies, Portuguese words no longer appeared.

As a Frenchman who studied other romantic languages, I can debunk that. This is absolutely not true. Even if, in-universe, it's supposed to be French or French Haitian, in reality I can tell you this isn't French, nor Haitian Creole, and there's no Portuguese in it either. It is actually gibberish mixed with a few random French words, made up by the filmmakers in the first Child's Play film. The only part that is real and isn't made up by the filmmakers is the mention of the Haitian God "Damballa". The rest is just "fake French". Also, it has been translated in the French dub of Child's Play 3 and Curse of Chucky.

@@sillystarzy That is also incorrect. In universe, it is supposed to be haitian creole indeed, but in reality it's gibberish made up by the filmmakers (with a few random French words here and there). I can tell because I'm a Frenchman who has traveled a lot in les Antilles (the Créole in those islands is slightly different than the one in Haiti but different variations of Créole are still very similar and recognizable, so I can tell it's definitely not Créole at all).

We need to have Damballa take on humanoid form and make an appearance in the franchise. I am sure there is something Damballa wants from Chucky in return for using his magic to jump from body to body. There is no such thing as a free lunch.

@@easybake8420 I really really love how they bring the supernatural aspect of the lore back! The best part is there's few if not none of any 'plot hole' or conflict in the established lore so everything still make sense story progression wise.

They did, lots of people just never understood it when Chucky explained it in Cult. Basically, Chucky possessed Alice and then started killing people. Then one day one of Chucky’s(inside of Alice’s body) victims fought back and killed her.

I would like to clarify a couple of things about the chant, even though I know by now most English-speakers won't believe me, probably because the truth is disappointing. I'm a Frenchman who knows a bit of creole (not necessarily Haitian creole, since I've lived in Guadeloupe and not in Haiti, but the different creoles from different French islands tend to share similarities even if they do have specifities). And I can tell that, contrary to what many English-speaking people believe, this chant is not French and is not creole either. It was actually made up by the writers of the first Child's Play movie. It is basically gibberish with some random French words added here and there (like "bois", meaning "wood", "morte", meaning "dead", or "beaucoup" meaning "a lot" in Cult of Chucky). It's meant to sound like French, but it not: it is a fictitious chant. It does have an official translation that you can find in the internet, but it's not based on something real.The only real part is the mention of Damballa, who is an actual Haitian god. The rest is entirely made up. And it's not obvisouly not Creole either. I know how Creole sounds like and it's definitely not like that, no matter what area we're talking about. Now, I know many people won't believe this, and will stubbornly cling to the belief that it's a real chant. I've seen that before. And honestly, I can understand. It's much more fun and thrilling to go on believing it's "maybe real", maybe an actual chant. But it isn't (except, like I said, the Damballa part). For us French people it is pretty obvious what the filmmakers were trying to do here (make up words that vaguely sound French), but I imagine it's not so obvious for English-speaking persons who would easily assume it is real. I hope I managed to help those who wondered what exactly the chant was, regardless what they WANT to think. And for those who wonder: in the French dub of the movies, the chant is the same (it therefore sounds like gibberish), except in Curse of Chucky, in which the translators turn the chant into actual French words ("Je prie les Dieux maléfiques de l'univers d'exaucer ma prière", etc). Voilà ! :) P.S.; In the season 3 of the Cucky TV series, Chucky says a chant that, for the very first time, actually means something in French (probably because the filmmakers now have access to internet, hence a translator), even though Brad Dourif pronounces it very poorly and it was hard to comprehend even to me.
