@ Well there are four variations of Sableye in the Battle Tree that Trainers could have. None of them hold Brightpowder but one does hold Lax Incense. At first, I confused it with Full Incense which reduces your priority (kinda like the Lagging Tail item). But Lax Incense does have the same effect as Brightpowder: it reduces the accuracy of moves targeting the holder by 10%. So that's why your Flash Cannon missed 3 times (well...that and bad luck tbh lol)

Your lady gets it. I also am a Pokeball purist. There's just something nice and borderline brag-worthy about all your Pokemon being in the same regular Pokeball without any ball rate modifiers, with no tacky or overdone opening and returning ball animations. It's espeically bad in the older games because every NPC opponent sends in Pokemon with regular Pokeballs so it felt extra tacky when mine would come out with this *different* ball and extra effects.

It's pretty funny you brought up the Poke Radar as I've actually been using it a lot for EV Training purposes recently and something I learned in that process that you might have overlooked is the different types of grass patches and how Radar Exclusive Encounters work with them. The Radar spawns three types of shaking grass, normal patches, fast shaking patches and shiny patches. The radar exclusives only spawn in the fast shaking patches and shiny patches if that is what you're chaining. Very well could have been what you were missing as I don't hear a lot of people talk about the radar much these days, much less the exclusive encounters. Either that or you were doing it right and you were extremely unlucky idk.

Something worth noting about South-Eastern Unova in the postgame is that almost ALL the trainers have different Pokémon not native in Unova. Personally, I think this is because without seeing them in the game it'd be extremely difficult to see them on the GTS. There could be other reasons, but it's absolutely worth mentioning!

Your story with the Whismur reminds me of a quest in Monster Hunter Generations where you had to get 5 Monster Guts. Those have a 20% chance to be carved off a small monster call Zamite and you can get up to two carves off of them. Doesn't seem too bad, right? You are given 50 minutes to complete the quest and it took me over 45 minutes to carve my last monster gut. 20% is so much smaller than you'd expect.
@HarryButHarry7 ай бұрын
I'm not sure if its possible to see a Whismur (e.g. in a trainer battle) in BW2, so the GTS method might've actually been impossible since you need to have seen a Pokemon to be able to search for it. It's a weird design choice but thats the way the devs made it. The method you used here is probably the best way of obtaining one for this side quest.

@AlizardJaeF7 ай бұрын
My theory on the levels getting all messed up (and so many non-Unovan Pokemon showing up) is that the many Pokemon stolen and released by or because of Team Plasma throughout the region disseminated and bred, forcing local Pokemon to grow stronger or be driven out, which in turn forced the introduced Pokemon to also grow stronger. The theory has some holes, but eh.

CRAP!!!), and the Pokémon found in the early routes (1, 2, 3, 4, 22, you get it!) in the Kanto region are STILL in incredibly low levels like in route 29 in the Johto region! They should have gone with that same thing for Black 2 and White 2! I also catch all Pokémon in the modern Pokémon games (starting in generation 6) with ordinary Pokéballs, including Legendary Pokémon! Here is a theory of my own! The trainer case is a machine that releases a wave that impides pokemon of certain levels to approach a trainer. This wave is then manipulated by the number of badges in your possession. That's why you only get pokemon of certain levels to appear from the wild. The rest are repelled by the low level trainer case This is not a serious theory, but I think it would be cool
