Love it brother 👍. your Dad I believe put a Boss load on that Jimmy. I love the sound of that Motor. Those 518 skidders are great machines . Keep it up , things are slowly starting to get better. Be good.

Very interesting. Completely different from what we have here in the interior of BC. We have incredibly vast tracts of even aged lodgepole pine, and some good sized Douglas fir. One TFL is the size of your whole state!.

Ran a 518 years ago for a guy up here in the northern Vermont mountains with no brakes ! DANGEROUS . Good pulling skidder, but real hard on fuel.

Cat 518, and I’m running 3/4 inch swaged

@@hoskinslogging9858 does that 3/4 not get heavy when hooking chokers? How long of mainline do you have to run in E. KY? Keep up the good work.
@hoskinslogging98582 жыл бұрын
Yeah it gets a little heavy. Not too bad though. We stay around 100 mostly. Usually only use about half of it on average. My ole man usually gets that dozer as close as he can

How long does a set of tires last on a machine like that?
@hoskinslogging98582 жыл бұрын
Wouldn’t have a clue. I’ve just been doing this seriously for the last 5 years. Hopefully they last a long time, because they’re ridiculously expensive

TIM from Canada all these videos suck. Do not like watching a video where the camera is inside a vehicle and they are showing everything but what the job is doing there have been many of these and I have left every one of them. Just like I am leaving this one thought it was going to be different. but no all the same

It’s hard to operate the equipment while standing next to it holding a camera. Sorry you don’t like it. Go watch someone else I guess
