Top 5? Dude, he is the best villain. No watering down. All the other ones have had things you can stand behind. Loki was feeling like an outsider when he found out he was lied to his whole life. Ultron just wanted to rid the earth of the cancer of humans, which we are. Thanos was actually saving the Universe from destroying itself. Baron Zemo had his family killed by the Avengers/Ultron conflict. Kang was saving the timeline from nexus events like the Avengers removing a infinity stone from the past. Namor was just protecting his people from the self destructive humans. Killmonger wanted to help “his people”, even if it meant doing a racist action. The Evolutioner, and perhaps Klaw. Are the only ones you can despise because their motivation is selfish and narcissistic. Evolutioner is hands down the best villain Marvel has produced.

Chukwudi Iwuji was completely phenomenal in his performance. He for sure would make an "EXCELLENT" Kang. I wish him continued success in his career and look forward to seeing him in whatever role he plays

I absolutely hope that Chukwudi gets to return as the High Evolutionary. Not only was it a great character and performance, but you can absolutely tell that Chukwudi had a blast playing him, both on-screen and through this interview. I mean, James Gunn outright confirmed that he's still alive in a recent interview, and I bet that he decided to not kill him off PRECISELY because he realized the potential the character still has in the MCU. That, and he probably also wanted to ensure that Chukwudi gets at least one more paycheck in the MCU 😂. Chukwudi seems like such a nice dude.

I love both these guys, very well spoken, composed and phenomenal actors. GOTG3 was 11/10 so refreshing, easily my most anticipated MCU film for over two years at this point and it didn’t disappoint

High Evolutionary is transcendental. My god, what a layered motherf*cker. When he talked about "organizing" the cacophony and transforming it into a perfect melody. That moment alone made me understand this f*cker better than Kang, Thanos and any other villain.

Chukwudi would be a perfect replacement to Jonathan as kang. His performance as the high evolutionary blew me away. His character made my blood boil. Hateable etc. He would be a great Kang.

Chukwudi should have been Kang. He is very effective as villain. From the very beginning I haven't been scared to John Majors potrayal.

high evolutionary wasn't that great of a villain. he was one dimensional unlike thanos, kang or killmonger who had personality, this guy was just mad his creation was smarter than he was.

villains don't need to be three dimensional, they just have to pose an authentic threat and have some sort of connection to the protagonist. that's what makes a good villain

Kang's personality consists of frequent... dramatic... pauses... during dull speeches. Killmonger's personality is "I should be the king and I'm an angry black man who hates whitey and wants to create an uprising". He's the super-villain equivalent of an actual Black Panther. Thanos is mostly a smirking tyrant whose personality consists of "muh balance" and moping a bit after he lobs Gamora off a magic cliff.
