Fun fact: Chungha only had three days to learn Dream of You's choreo and practice it with the dancers before shooting the performance video. Idk why would her company risk it and put her under such a tight schedule but their experience came through! they all slayed 🥰

I think Gotta Go is considered The Song because it was the one that put her in the spotlight. Before that, she was only ChungHa from I.O.I, and then Gotta Go happend and she became the ChungHa, promising solo artists and later on one of the girls that received the title of Queen in the industry alongside HyunA, Hyorin, Sunmi etc.

These three songs are the holy trinity in chungha's discography for me (along with stay tonight, of course). I wish I could listen to them for the first time, they are just too good. 😩 Now that you mention it, Chungha and Taemin are incredibly talented at dancing and making choreography something special, they just share that presence and style that not everyone has. Now I understand why they are my two favorite soloists 🤣. Thanks for the reaction, it was amazing!

Also, I'd like to comment that Bicycle, Stay Tonight, Dream Of You and Play are part of Chungha's debut album "Querencia". You may not react to it, but you could listen to it in your free time. For me, it's a very good album.

Is so funny see how new kpopers know Gotta Go now when literally back in the day you can not escape from the song Chungha was literally everywhere and make the idol scene pay attention to her she was winning left and right trophys and performing everywhere as well making Snapping her third big hit in the same year by the end of it but if you ask me I would say all started bc of Roller Coaster and her amazing performance and charisma give her a first win in music shows and as well in that era is when her become more mainstream is really awesome how she take a risk to become after IOI a solo singer and put her 100% in it

gotta go is the song that blow her up as a SOLOIST, she was already well known celebrity but THIS right here made her name as a soloist, it was so popular, everyone and their fathers were singing and dancing to it, it was so popular among idols too(when tt challenges weren’t even there, i think you saw it somewhere more than once😆), i was so obsessed with this song for the whole year it was released, that’s her the most known and popular song in korea

Honestly every idol and their mamas have covered "gotta go" or danced to it at least once, so it's posible you have seen more than one idol or group do it (if I'm not mistaken it was nominated for song of the year both in MAMA and MMA, and it won the Best Dance Award that year )

pretty sure gotta go is kinda her take on cinderella's story, which "gotta go" before 12 o'clock (the literal translation of the korean title is "already 12 o'clock/already midnight") and like her hands during the choreo, as she sings the line "it's already midnight" her hands both face upwards and then raises two fingers to represent the hands on the clock telling the time. her choreographer team really did that!! chungha and la chica are the best!!❤❤❤

It might have been ateez seonghwa that you saw dancing to gotta go. That would explain why you remembered the choreography but not the song because I think they sang it while he danced instead of playing the song.

I feel like the reason you cant place which idol did the choreo because it's literally like EVERY idol. Like whenever a main dancer goes on a variety show and given a dance relay or asked to dance they typically do that move!

I feel like Dream of You could've been such a western hit if people weren't biased against kpop as a whole (especially because it's in english). Love love love Chungha! Such a great voice and an amazing dancer- someone who doesn’t get talked up enough in my opinion. Great reaction as always :) It might be a far shot since it’s from a while ago but Haechan danced to the chorus of Gotta Go in NCT Life Gapyeong so you might’ve heard/seen a snippet from there? But like a lot of others have said, that song has been covered by idols a lot so could be from anyone haha!

The most outstanding gotta go choreo cover for me was when ATEEZ’s Seonghwa danced it on a variety show. It’s a very popular clip but I’m not sure if you fw ATEEZ like that haha. Great reaction and glad you’re enjoying mother Chungha 🫶🫶

Chungha is amazing in so many ways! I know that Yoona of SNSD did cover part Gotta Go in her chorography cover video and few shows too. So maybe it was in guide, cant remeber. Taemin also tried in Idol Room random dance but he was so cutely lost😂 But It was very viral to cover that choreo in media and still comes up in random song games.

idk if some already told you, Chungha auditioned for YG but she didn't pass it. She was mentioned in Treasure Box's first episode together with other idols and actors that auditioned bt didn't pass.
