As a revert myself I think Speed needs time to research more and ask questions as what is making him hesitate and be scared. I took over a year to revert due to being scared and also not knowing what to do because my family is Catholic as well. Best thing you can do is research on your own and ask questions to scholars or people you trust and not involve other people and family. Only base it on your own believes and stay true to yourself and your own heart. I didn’t want my family to influence my decision. Once you’re ready you won’t be scared anymore and you will be ready to convert and be for certain you’re Muslim and can ask the questions and be a proud Muslim insha’Allah. It’s been 3/4 years for me and by far do I know all of Islam but I know Islam is meant to be easy and is such a beautiful accepting religion Subhan’Allah. May Allah swt make this journey for Speed and anyone else wanting to revert, be super easy for them.

"But none will grasp the message Except the Men of intellect." (Quran 2:269) And in the alternation of night and day, and in the provision God sends down from the sky, bringing Earth to life by it after it has died, and in the varying direction of the winds, there are Signs for people who use their intellect. (Qur’an, 45:5) “No self can Believe Except with God's Permission. He Places a Blight on those who do Not Use Their Own Intellect” (Quran, 10:100)

Practicing Islam is one thing and accepting it is another. Practicing Islam is tough, you need pray 5 times, do fasting in Ramadan, staying away from Zina, alcohol and all the haram stuff. Respecting elders and being good to younger people. It's tough for people doing this stuff especially in the west, you need people of good gathering to be successful

Alhamdulilah I’m glad they’re taking it seriously. Chunkz wasn’t pressuring him at all and wanted him to take a moment and talk off camera. Well to answer the question he asked, it's your own path and choice. Even those Muslims born into Muslim families are mostly what I'd call blind. Not to say not everyone one of them don't follow the path and learn better but I have quite some friends who are like that, who only hold the title of Islam. I'd go as far as to say newly converted people are 99% of the time better Muslims then Muslim born Muslims. They know more about Islam

Even born as muslim, doeesnt mean we save from hellfire. Maybe we grow up never learn islam and leave it. Or Maybe we born into deviant strange sect of islam. Try search youtube " a strange islam" with 1.3 millions views 7 years ago video. you will find what i am talking about. Or we can be a muslim but doing a shirk akbar like worshipping Allah but believe that other God is true or other religion is true beside islam(because doesnt learn properly) Or we might born in super deviant sect that believe that there is prophet after prophet muhammad. And many more. In short, even muslim need to search for the truth. Because technically not all of us born in "save environment". Even with save environmet, it doesnt mean save at all because interaction and culture exchange and life test will always become challenge to doubt islam.

By 10 yrs old, we aren’t considered ‘blind’. Because by then, we are responsible to decide our own religion and most people chose Islam because in Islam, Muslims just pray to our god allah SWT and then our worries are gone. We do not or SHOULD NOT fear death as it just brings us closer to our most merciful god. I used to be one of those followers with just a title when I was a child but now I actually try to be a proper Muslim cuz my ultimate goal above everything is jannah al firdaus, the highest level of heaven where allah SWT invites u to see his face.

@@Tostito422 i think you missunderstood. I think what he mean by blind is take for granted the religion as part of tradition in community. Not because they learn it from scratch and searching for the truth. Some of it doesnt even pray 5 times a day. Or never fasting. I myself see it a muslim that never pray and never fasting in ramadhan as far as we become working partner. Just eating and smoking. By any mean, blind faith can lead to big sins and shirk if the person is not aware of.

@@Tostito422 i also once try to say "lets go to mosque" and some excuse to not pray is because they dont want to pray with their clothes that has sweat on it. In my place, some people often doesnt want to pray just because their clothes has dirt and sweat on it and prefer to have "nice clean clothes that lead them not to pray during lunch time when working time but they will pray if they already take a bath and has a nice clothes to put on.

Quran Chapter 67:23 "It is He who has produced you and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful." Quran (30:40) It is Allah *61 Who created you, then bestowed upon you your sustenance, *62 and He will cause you to die and then will bring you back to life. Can any of those whom you associate with Allah in His Divinity! do any such thing? *63 Glory be to Him and exalted be He above whatever they associate with Allah in His Divinity. I barely read the Quran after I finished it ( i was around 9 ) till I was 11, I just didn't like to. But my parents suggested that i memorise the Quran during Covid, or atleast give it a try, so I did. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I finished memorising near the end of Covid. :) ( I'm now 15 ). Just believe in yourself and make Quran a priority.

If he doesn't know who Allah is and who Mohammed is, there will be no sincerity in his heart. It's better he truly understands the basics, such as tawheed, who Allah is, what his own purpose is and who Mohammed is. After that he can take the Shahada with sincerity

@@Karim-1111 There is no evidence of Allah though. The knowledge that could never be known at a time doesn't mean anything. What if an alien race gave them that knowledge? Or that there was a prosperous forgotten civilisation? They both are more believable than Allah.
