You get the best of both Worlds in this delicious bar! The great taste of creamy cheesecake along with the crunchy cinnamon taste of a churro! These are absolutely delicious for a dessert , breakfast pastry or just a snack! Hope you can give them a try!!
Ingredients:
2 Packages of crescent roll dough
Filling:
2 8oz packages of softened cream cheese
2 large eggs
1 cup of sugar
3 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup sour cream
Cinnamon Sugar Topping:
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup melted butter

Thanks so much for watching Andrew!! Puff pastry dough is more layers and will puff up more more than crescent dough will. But if you roll it out with a rolling pin and flatten it thinner it would most likely work the same!

I have made this before, but it's been eons ago. (Soooo yummy! Rich...but addictive.....definitely can't have just 1 bite, that's for certain!) If I'm recalling it correctly, it seems like I par-cooked the bottom layer for 5 mins before putting it all together so the bottom doesn't lean towards being a little doughy. Do you suggest/feel this is necessary?

Did you need to allow this to "firm-up" in the fridge after it cools from the oven - like a regular cheesecake?

Hi John. I made it at night and let it sit o. The counter. The next morning it cut perfectly. But you could definitely stick it in the fridge for a few hours
