I LOVE the synths and they're so important to what makes Chvrches Chvrches, but I also love these stripped versions! It's amazing to really focus on Lauren's voice like this, and Martin and Iain do a great job reinterpreting the tune on acoustic intruments in a more understated way.

God this made me cry. One of the best songs ever. Their acoustic stuff hits so much harder. It's weird because you can hear it's not MEANT to be acoustic, and that's what adds this deep yet ethereal feeling when it is. So amazing. I think they should do a fully acoustic hits album.

I sometimes cry myself to sleep because I know my dream of seeing Chrvches will never come true. I've never been to a concert. It would fix my broken heart from a broken dream if I could get the smallest chance to hear them play 1 song from outside the venue. that small thing means the world to me. I just imagine feeling their presence the music the vibs transcending me into another world within myself.
