Yes it was, my father was an Airforce Master Sargent. When the people power came, he went home w/ his rifle. And quit. He doesn't want to be part of any of them. He loved his life and us family. He was supposed to be part of the security to provide Ferdinand Marcos to fly him out to Subic then to Ilocos to continue his fight there. But the Americans rather flew him out to Hawaii. lol! And Benigno Aquino assassination it was CIA orchestrated, they jailed a fall guy. And until now, no one knows who assassinated him. But clearly CIA. And it was triggered because Marcos was becoming hostile to US policies and started talking against them. Facts.And after the fog of the coup, my late father just retired and went to Saudi Arabia.

The US instigated many coups in recent history. Too many to count. I will list a few. 1893 Hawaii, 1933 Cuba, 1953 Iran, 1954 Guatemala, 1960-1965 Congo, 1961 The Dominican Republic, 1963 South Vietnam, 1964 Brazil, 1973 Chile, Australia 1975, 1981-90 Nicaragua, Ukraine 2014 etc.

My Bolivian friends told me the Coup failed because the transporting armoured trucks are supplied by China and due to its poor quality and broke down on the wheel joints on the way to the President house, all the trucks were jammed and the first truck even failed to crack down the front door walls with the heavy armoured truck, which led to its shameful retreat.....with the rebel general caught by the police finally.🤣
