Here's my cover of the awesomely catchy new wave/alternative rock song currently known as 'CIA'.
‘CIA’, sometimes called ‘Coming Home’, is a mysterious unidentified song, originally recorded off CFNY-FM (Canadian Radio Station) around August-September of 1984. It's been a struggle trying to identify the original artist, so please do get in touch if this song sounds familiar, or if you recognise the original.

Plotwist: The song was actually recorded by CIA agent in his free time. Jokes aside, amazing cover as always dude.

It’s such a catchy song. I sent it to the core group of CFNY staff from back then, other people who were in radio at the time, half of the Toronto 80s bands, the head of A&R of Sony, Alan Cross went on CBC with it… I even sent the clip to the actual CIA….. nothing

Wow, your version is totally spot on!!!! Well done. Hopefully it will help identify the song and artist. I've sent the original version to all of my friends who were in radio or in bands in the 80's and no one has figured out who did the song. Not even the head of A&R at Sony. Lol. Very awesome cover you did there. Great job!

Thank you so much! I do indeed have lots of music I have made, both in previous bands and as myself. I might upload it all one day. I didn't really think people would be particularly interested, to be honest! But it might be my only choice if I run out of mysterious songs to cover!!

i don't know where are you from but by listening i can say you have different accent from the original. i don't know why but i think the original sounds like bulgarian or at least eastern european.
