• [U.U.F.O.] Tr.17 CICAD...
The goal of the project was to make a fully synchronized level, both for gameplay and visuals. A level that corresponds perfectly to the music, in its rhythm and in its atmosphere. And I think I've achieved it (at least for the vision I have of it).
Anyway, it's here now and i'm extremely happy with it! I wish i could add more more "deco" but it's already heavy enough (265+k obj).
It has been an incredibly long journey, made possible by an awesome team that helped me brainstorming and playtesting the whole thing!

This level was a huge challenge for different reasons, firstly because I had a lot of problems due to the game directly (sync/Hz, game crashes, data loss ETC).
secondly because I wanted to make a level on the theme of the CICADA3301 affair, I wanted to add lots of references (like QR codes, the map with the locations, pieces of code (because yes, some pieces of codes are from the ARG itself)) and for that it was necessary to do a lot of research.
Thirdly because I set out to create a sort of lore in the level, and it's a surprise to no one but I'm a creator, not a writer, and even less an English writer. so I had to "learn" how to write a mini story that didn't sound too childish or too banal. A story that starts normally, then becomes serious. (and even if it's still pretty childish, i'm proud of it).
And ultimately because the more the project progressed, the more the parts done a long time ago no longer pleased me. And little by little I started decorating several parts, adding effects to others and I just couldn't stop.
