Abhijit is driving to bureau when he spots a bad car accident that is disrupting the traffic. He finds out that a young woman was involved in the accident and has been hospitalized. Abhijit is returning to his car when he sees that the car in the accident has a double number plate. He heads to the particular hospital to question the victim, only to find out that she has got a bad head injury and is in no state to talk. Abhijit finds out her driving license from her handbag. He gets her name Anushka S, a resident of Goregaon. He informs Daya and tells him to go to this particular address and tell the family about Anushka s accident. CID is in for a further shock when they find out upon reaching the address. There is a woman in that house who says that she is Anushka and she is perfectly fine. Cops realize that something is fishy. The girl in the accident has stolen this woman s identity. They decide to speak to the fake Anushka but the woman has lost her memory temporarily due to the accident. Abhijit remembers seeing a restaurant bill in her handbag. Maybe that can lead to her identity and what she really was upto. Through a thorough investigation, CID finds out that this girl alongwith two men is a part of a kidnapping gang. They have kidnapped the son of a rich industrialist Harshwardhan Rana and plan to take a fat ransom and kill the boy as well. Harsheardhan s father takes CID help when they confront him about the kidnapping. But CID misses out on the kidnappers due to their sharp planning. However, CID does not leave their trail and manages to stop the kidnappers in time before they can kill the boy and escape the country.
