I’m just gonna say this: If Cid gets killed by the Bad Batch, I’m not going to be sad about it.

While everyone else is praising for the batch to cut ties with Cid, I’m over here panicking that she can easily disseminate information to the empire.

I love seeing that BB was willing to ditch Cid. She's a snake, and I had some 'evil stepmom' vibes from when she first showed up. She looked like a striking snake the moment she saw Omega the first time.

Is nobody mentioning the fact Cid currently has possession of Kamino's medical droid, Fives, and Omega's friend AZ? I bet she can use him to track them down.

When the time comes for Cid selling out Bad Batch to the Empire, she would then suffer a laser guided karma in return.

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but i think there is more going on with Sid then meets the eye. Given her attitude towards the bad batch in the episodes prior to her "betrayal" as well as everything the Batch has done for her, in addition to her insistence in episode 4 that she "isent like that anymore", I dont think Sid would actually betray the Bad Batch. So what is the explanation for her behavior? Answer: I think she has been compromised, either by the Empire or a third party. I think she is using the Batch's suspicions of her as a way to keep them from going back to her bar, without outright saying "hay its not safe, dont come back". Think about it, every single interaction she has had with the team since the mission to grab the explosive crystals has only served to inflame mistrust of her and pretty much guarantee the batch wouldn't _want_ to come back. For someone as shrewd as Sid, she has to know that in order to keep the batch working for her she needs to be a little more diplomatic. For her to be going out of her way to be so antagonistic, it just tells me something is up.

After I had finished the most recent episode I was like: "I loved it. It was so peaceful, the Bad Batch members could finally relax, Omega could be a kid, they are in a safe place, everything is good. Which of course means we'll be hit in the face by a brick in the next episodes and everyone is going to die." I'm absolutely terrified about what's going to happen next.

My likely guess is that next episode, Cid sells out the Bad Batch and Phee to the Empire allowing them to attack Pabu and capture Omega. It won't be just the clone squad that'll be enraged with Cid, it'll be Phee too since it is her home city and would be more than willing to attack Cid. Now when Omega gets to Mount Tantiss, she'll find Crosshair there used as an experiment and will likely try to free him. All the while, Rex, Cody and Echo help the Batch rescue not only Omega and Crosshair, but take on the Empire with many Clone Troopers in a massive Clone uprising that won't last long, but will be loud enough to scare even Palpatine.

I expect the team is gonna kill Cid, as she's established herself as both villain and threat. One the Batch is gonna have to deal with sooner rather than later.

Cid is most likely going to rat them out to the Empire, but either way the Empire is showing up to their new paradise planet next ep and kidnapping Omega. Then the end of the season will most likely see everyone rescued by Rex/Echo and season three will be about the clone rebellion they've been hinting at for the past two seasons. Crosshair will either rejoin the team or die saving them.

Let me guess, she’s going to betray the Bad Batch and it’s going to be a multiple episode arc and at the climax, Cid will be in a position of power over the Bad Batch and then Omega will ask her questions that make her question herself and feel conflicted, causing her to change her mind and decide to save the Bad Batch but die in the process.

Lol the odd couple of bad batch. If Tech falls in love, it will give me Beast vibes from the x-men cartoon. ( that one episode where beast goes mad with rage when when the love interest is kidnapped) I'm here for it

During the racing episode where Tech saved Cid's butt, they were warned. A snake doesn't relieve its true nature just because it was cared for. In the end, it's still a snake. They were warned and they ignored it.

My guess? The season's final arc will involve Cid betraying the Bad Batch to the Empire. The Empire will brainwash Crosshair then dispatch him to collect Omega. Then, when Cid tries to collect her payment from the empire, the empire will likely kill her. Omega will likely witness the murder as an emotional gutpunch. Omega and the rest of the Bad Batch will free Crosshair from his brainwashing through the power of friendship and together they will escape from the Empire. Omega's trauma from watching Cid die could then be explored in the next season of Bad Batch and could even be used as a mechanism for Crosshair to re-integrate into the team at an emotional level as the cranky, but caring uncle figure to Omega.

Hemlock definitely won’t die this season. While people believed Rampart was a villain, he was basically just someone trying to look useful to the empire. However Hemlock has all the makings of a proper villain (design, style, voice). He will be the actual villain coming out of S2 and more than likely S3 and beyond.

For a Galaxy that is so advanced you'd think that the Island would have a Countermeasure to take out the Tidal Wave. It goes to show that Mother Nature is still undefeated.

My best guess for the next episode is the empire shows up to “welcome” the island residents to the empire of Cid tips them off and they come looking for the group. a second option I thought of is the sea surges aren’t cause by the ocean but an animal giant turtle, the island isn’t really an island but the shell of a massive sleep turtle and the surges and the turtle rustling as it sleeps.

I think Cid will report them to the Galactic Empire based on their transmission and I feel that Padua will be invaded by the Galactic Empire and they capture Omega causing them to contact Rex and Echo to help with the rescue causing a confrontation to occur with the crosshair and possibly dying the echo in the process and that all members of The bad batch get angry and finally fighting the galactic empire joining rex to save his brothers this maybe or likely in season 3 this is my prediction from the end of season 2

I feel like Cid will absolutely sell them out next episode, and the Empire takes Omega hostage, after which the original squad members left probably get in touch with Rex and Echo and ask them to look for where she could have gone before going to Cid’s place to pick up AZ. If the Imps haven’t dealt with her for previously being an accomplice and harboring Imperial fugitives, the Batch will either invite one of her rivals to come supplant her or just ice the backstabber themselves.

Everyone seems to forget the bad batch are commandos, primarily assassins and saboteurs. If Cid does attack realistically they’d kill her and probably not have much trouble with it either. But literally everyone from the characters to the writers has forgotten that somehow. Except. Crosshair, he’s well aware of it

This episode is a common tool in story. It's the brief, gentle pause before the storm of terrible crap that falls on the heads of main characters, used to give a false sense of security or to make the successive disaster hit harder after getting the audience relaxed. Cid going after CF99 in some way and Crosshair being used as some sort of weapon are almost certain plot points, and it's obvious that Hemlock will be after them soon, but there's one question that's being mostly unasked: why did we see a big Zillo beast, and what relevance is that thing gonna have to the story? Such an important creature from TCW showing up would be very out of place if it wasn't put there for future use, rather than a single episode in which it's not even the most important part.

I hate when shows and films are predictable, so I'm hoping for some twist or unseen element to come play a big part. But what was the whole deal with the episode featuring crosshair and Cody? We now know Cody has gone AWOL. Whether he was killed by Rampart or just went solo, we don't know. So I would like to know what the deal is there and if he had a long-awaited reunification with ol Rexy boy and Echo.

I got very creeped out by cid as time went on. The creepy message was very menacing. It was easily considered a threat from the Batch. I only see the Batch going back and killing Cid. She knows too much and is very dangerous because of that.

Im just happy we are moving away from side quests. They were boring and really slow. I almost stopped watching the show.

Filler episodes are important. They allow creators like Dave filloni to tell stories that they would not otherwise tell. I would love to know what happens to the batch today. But that takes from their journey and development as characters. If anything filler episodes should be a comfort to all of us, that Disney is not gripped with telling a story that keeps us all hooked till the end like Netflix does. Rather they are concerned more with developing the people within the show. I would argue that it is story telling at its finest. Movies that go on for weeks. Could you imagine waiting weeks on weeks for the empire strikes back like some of our parents did? No star wars for half the year. We get 2 episodes every Wednesday the Mandolorian and the Bad batch.

Does anyone else think Pabu is on the planet Scarif!? If that's the case then thats not good😬 It would also help tie in the death trooper plot.

Season 3 of both rebels and clone wars was where the shows started to get darker. So if they follow this trend, it’s going to be a very highly anticipated season 3

I would love for Crosshair to return but I also miss Echo being part of the team because we never got to see Clone Force 99 with 6 members, including Hunter, Tech, Omega, Wrecker, Echo and Crosshair together as a team.

I was 50/50 at first but having watched all the episodes I actually have enjoyed the story of the bad batch my favourite was seeing gunjee and becoming the jedi he was meant to be

In this line of work, Black Ops and clandestine missions, you can't just "hand in your resignation". You can't quit this job, this life. It will catch up to you one way or the other. I hope for as minimal damage and hurt in the end as possible. But something tells me this is nothing more than wishful thinking. But if Cid will get blaster bolt between the eyes, I'll just say "Karma".

The bad batch season 2 really needs to find a plot.

I hope we get a season 3,4 and 5 and maybe 6. I really like this series. Omega is Damn good character and me personally and maybe many more want to se her be an adult or grown up and to see clone force 99/the bad batch grow older. I don’t mean old old but like we where it all ends.

This episode was the calm before the storm that will be the last episodes. But I think both Fee and the Bad Batch would be smart enough not to let Cid track them, but she doesn't need to, she has their number, so if the Empire comes to her she can just send them a message saying the Empire has taken Crosshair prisoner to draw them out of hiding, or she can tell them about Rex a friend of the Bad Batch and they can attack him, Echo, and what other Clones are with them, forcing them to call the Bad Batch for help. Regardless of which one it is, next episode the Bad Batch will get a call that forces them to leave Pabo to go and help their friends and get back into the fight with the Empire, like other Clones, as well as Jedi and a few others, the Bad Batch are just trying to stay out of this fight and live peaceful lives, but as Echo pointed out the Empire is growing stronger and they have to do something to help and stop it, and as Kanen notes years later when he saw innocents being harmed and knew he had the power to do something he couldn't just keep hiding and let it all burn. You can only hide away from the galaxy and the Empire for so long before you're forced back into the fight, it doesn't matter if you're a Clone, a Jedi, or something else, eventually, all these good people can't just sit back and do nothing, we saw it with Kanen in Rebels, we saw it with Ahsoka in Tales of the Jedi, I assume we saw it in Andor I haven't been watching that series but I've heard things about it so I assume Andor himself and many others were eventually forced back into the fight because of the brutality and cruelty of the Empire, and now will see it here with the Bad Batch next episode.

I think that if Cid wanted to turn them in she would have by now, and that she just doesn’t want them to think she’s gone soft. It’s usually the people who don’t make any threats and act nice all the time that you have to watch out for

I think that it Cid could betray the BB, but they could still manage to keep Pabu safe! It could be their place of refuge just like Rex, Wolf and Gregor were able to stay at their planet even after the Empire discovered it in Rebels! Depending on how far into the Star Wars timeline the writers take the BB, Pabu could be where they stay (Return of the Jedi to The Force Awakens)

Well the empire destroying pub would just be another Camino at the end of the season would be a bit disappointing but I personally speculate that the bad batch would make a deal with Sid and buy their way out of her services but your own hypothesis maybe right the main villain of the season probably would end up dead crosshair possibly redeemed or rescued.. All in retrospect crosshair might go lone wolf and become like a rival or a competitor to the bad batch..

As for Crosshair, he'll reunite with the rest when some or all of them get captured. Then they'll have to break out like in S1 E1, but this time WITH Crosshair.

My guess it will be a little bit abount Crosshair and a bittersweet reuniting wand Crosshair will be shot in that ending... But before that Crosshair is a part of his team again.

Cid makes credits from information trade... of course she's dangerous for the Bad Batch. Information about clone deserters and an intensely wanted female clone of Jango Fett is quite valuable... and Cid knows it. Plus, she's a Trandoshian...

I honestly want them to get out of this happy and together. A lot of Star Wars content in the Disney era has a tendency to end on very sour, and depressing notes. I think it would be an excellent change to see the good guys to get out of this alive and together

Do you think that Commander MayDay possibly is CT-1226? He never got a true name in any canon, just known that he was in the first battle of Geonosis. Admiral Rampart told Crosshair that he was placed under a new Commander since Commander Cody was reported to be AWOL. The next mission we see involving Crosshair was him meeting MayDay. Also, what chances could there be of Cody being turned into a Dark Trooper, Troopers especially Clones typically just don't vanish normally unless someone wanted them to disappear or they take a big risk to leave.

We all don’t want to hear this but I feel there will be some conflict and some characters are going to get killed or separated. These last 3 episodes are marking perfect returns for Cody, Rex and Echo. With Rex being the only one who is safe from the plot. That’s all I’m going to say.

Cid may be a self serving crook who would happily sell out the guys, but she wouldn't threaten Omega. That part of transmission has been altered in an attempt to lure the Batch back to deal with her. Cid is already being watched or even held by the Empire.

I do have to say though they already showed how Cid will track them down she's going to do what Omega did we already know Gunki has a tracker in it and if the batch knew it Cid definitely does so she'll use the same trick to find their ship.

It was great the Bad Batch cut ties with Cid and had a relatively happy moment on Pabu. Feel bad in the next ep or two it won't last.

Also I've honestly hated crosshair since the first episode but S2 E12 changed my mind on that its amazing how one episode can flip you from hating him to wanting him reunited with his friends

I think another thread that was failed to be mentioned was the clone assassin. I think it will be revealed what the empire did to that clone to make him completely obedient, and it applied to crosshair.

I mostly excpect the same, except I wasn't thinking crosshair to be the one sent after the bad batch. instead I could see omega encountering crosshair after shes kidnapped and convincing him to help them both escape meeting the bad batch as they sneak into the base to get her back. though the later part could happen with crosshair brainwashed if she can somehow undo it. also half expect the bad batch to release the zilo beast as a distraction to their escape

I don’t get why they didn’t just whack Cid right there and then when she threatened to blow their cover to the empire, I mean it’s not like Cid has much of any powerful allies as we and the bad batch could see throughout the season.

I don't know why everyone thinks this it just doesn't make sense to me Cid really likes Omega you can see it in EVERY interaction they have and shes fond of the boys too. She insisted so strongly that she had changed in episode 4 and every time she has done something nasty to the BB like not sending a rescue she gives Omega a sad troubled look. (I think the empire has her or something like that. I mean why was the transmission so glitchy its never been like that before) Sid is a red haring. To me its so obvious and if she turns on them it would only be out of pure desperation but I think that even then she wouldn't I think she will be pushed to the edge and in the last moment she will chose to do the right thing like she promised But maybe its just me. Everybody and their mother seems to think she is pure evil but I guess we'll see

Friendship with Cid ended. Curious to see what will happen with the Bad Batch after today's events plus what will happen as it nears its season finale.

I personally think it’s going to end with cross hair back with the bad batch and omega being captured by the empire.

What's weird for me is the fact that Cid is going to mess with the Bad Batch knowing what they are capable to.

If the Empire needed the Kaminoans that much, why'd they go and destroy their home the way they did? It all ties to them not thinking things through.

My point of view after seeing this video: I find the lack of the possible plot twist to NOT be disturbing. I mean it. I already liked this prediction alone already and I hoped this prediction will become reality. But if you've seen a fragment of future already, then it is the present. And the present cannot be fixed because it is already be fixed in the moment.

...At this point, they really need to have Greg Weisman-level villains like David Xanatos and the Light. Obvious amateurs like Cid are just nuisances, nothing more.
