Schwartz plays soft coverages and sticks defense. Dealing with him as the dcord in Philly, games with this kind of pressure were far and in between. Hopefully he changed his philosophy.

Jim Schwartz has that defense on a different level. The D Line is constantly in the backfield, corners smothering the receivers, tackling is looking excellent. Huge pickup by the browns. They just looked 10x faster, that defense was flying around

Yeah that positioning with the DBs is masterful! They maintained inside leverage on key plays and know when to play man/zone. Made burrow look like a complete bum which is hard to do for most teams!

We have had some good moments in the last 2 seasons but just haven't looked serious since the Kardiac Kids days of the 80's !!! Joe never does well against cleveland, because we can’t block their dline. There are 2 or 3 lines in the league that do that to us and cleveland is always a tough game to watch. We just cant block em. Too much tape out there to say anything less than that.

I loved the game. I like good defense and the Browns had it today. They also had a very good running game and 3 FGs with no misses. Watson did okay but will have to do better in the future. Quite refreshing and an opening win at home is great. They finally got that off their backs.
