Depends on where you're at. Once you get into Homewood and other parts of the east side, Pittsburgh can be really rough. And then you cross over out of the city into Wilkinsburg, and it gets even worse. Cincinnati has a lot of neighborhoods in the city that are rough, but most of the suburbs aren't too bad. Everything I’ve read regarding food scene, culture, GDP, ethnicities, population, suggests that these two cities are damn near identical in all aforementioned categories. Where did you frequent in Pittsburgh? How long were you there for and what can you get in Cincinnati that you can’t get in Pittsburgh? Both cities are constantly on “top foodie city” lists. Also, comparing a music fest to a pickle fest isn’t an apples to apples comparison lol… even though it would surprise me if picklesburgh did attract those sorts of crowd numbers.

I've lived in the Pittsburgh area all of my life. I'm not from a bad area, but do work overnight in the Larimer neighborhood of the Burgh. I'm about two blocks away from the area of Larimer known as "the hood." I've driven through and stopped at places in those areas at all hours of the night more times than I count, and I've never had any issues. I'd be lying if I said it is safe there, but generally speaking if you mind your business and act accordingly (not loud and flashy) then there isn't any issue 99.9% of the time. I wouldn't recommend taking a nighttime solo stroll on foot through some of these places though. No, people aren't out there headhunting looking to put a bullet in you just because you walked through, but if you are an outsider eventually you will run into someone who might check you or cause a problem.

I'm born and raised in Cincinnati. Cincinnati looks hood and rough in the video but trust me when I say Cincinnati was probably twice as bad in the early 2000s. The LL Cool J movie In Too Deep was based upon a true story here in the Nati. Cincinnati is home ❤
@monkeydui72413 жыл бұрын
It was worse back then that's true. They're attempting to make it better in places like OTR
@draines92373 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry to burst your bubble homie but the movie N2deep was actually based on a drug dealer whose name was God, just like LL's character who was from Boston.The real cop who got in 2 deep turned crazy because he had genuine love for God(no pun intended) and was fucked up he had to do his job. I heard he used to walk his wolf 🐺 around the neighborhood and ended up committing suicide. My belief in why they used cincy instead of Boston is probably because the mayor probably didn't want to sign off on the production of a black movie because Boston racist like that. The mayor of any city has the last authority on whether he want a movie to be filmed in their city. But they let movies like the Town and the Departed happened in Boston 🙄 which are crime films smh. Somebody in your childhood lied to you 😆 🤣 😂 😆 🤣. All facts 💯

Why
@Crazcompart3 жыл бұрын
Other than Kings Island, I've never really been much in the Cinci area and certainly not in the inner city itself whatsoever... I have been to the Pitt Valley a few times back in the 80s and 90s, but mostly downtown, with most portions of the city sitting on the hills all around, while the downtown section lies on the lowest ground where the Rivers all meet...
