It really wasn't. He said he could jump in if needed, Courtilly said she got it, the timer went out and THEN Courtilly realized and said "wait." but it was too late. Also, it's more Larry's fault than Anthony's because Courtilly said to keep it red but he played a +4 without knowing what she had, which isn't a good play. Larry could've also not kept red, since they knew Fooya had red, made it something else, Courtilly can either take the bullet or call a bluff, either way Fooya had a red and would have to draw. But Courtilly was confident though Larry's play didn't help her plan, so Anthony is not to blame at all, if Courtilly's plan had worked, Fooya wouldn't have won then. Larry threw it for having a colour change and not changing it regardless and Courtilly didn't communicate her plan clear enough for him apparently, Anthony completely faultless.

Grade: F Turn 2: 3:53:42 Another wide turn, although not AS wide. Grade: D- Turn 3: 3:53:47 Ugh. Wastes one of three mush on the straight for no reason. Then sets himself up too far inside. He does try to cut the grass, but because he's on the inside half of the track, his line is all wrong. Start out wide. Cut towards the grass from there. Then boost through the grass. Instead, he starts inside, and when he activates the mushroom, his momentum is horizontal, sending him into the far wall again. Grade: D Turn 4: 3:53:52 Well... He didn't waste all 4 mushrooms he had before this turn. So there's that. He had one left, and he tried to use it right. Old Chilled woulda burned it before he got to this turn. Unfortunately, his technique is still off. Crashing into the wall again. Grade: D Turn 5: 3:53:57 Uh-oh. He's inside again. And then he boosts into an item. Not his fault entirely, but compared to turns 3 & 4, this was bound to be the worst of the 3 even if he didn't clip the item. Grade: D- Turn 6: 3:54:03 Slow & wide. And on the exit he waste's another mushroom. That's three total this race. "All these single mushrooms are gonna be the ****in' death of me." Not if we use them correctly, Chilled :( Grade: F Turn 7: 3:54:09 Way too inside again. Wastes a mushroom on the exit of a turn again. If you do the turn right, you'll get a purple boost, not needing a mushroom. Save the shrooms so you can go through the grass. Its infinitely better. Grade: F Turn 8: 3:54:14 He wasted a fifth mushroom on the straight just prior to this turn, while complaining about not getting 'violence' items. If he uses these mushrooms correctly, he'd easily have command of the lead. Anyway, he saves the last of his trip-mush to sort of cut the grass. The effort is...ok. Coulda been a much better cut though. Grade: C Turn 9: 3:54:18 He keeps swinging way too far inside on these turns. He's caught in a vicious cycle. He burns his items immediately coming out of a turn, so then he cuts to the inside track to get more items, only to burn them immediately on a wide turn, then having to cut back inside and throw off the next turn, only to misuse his item, and repeating the cycle. What Chilled should try next time: Don't prioritize getting items at all. Instead only focus on your lines in and out of turns to be as optimal as possible, getting purple boost on every exit, touching the inside yellow paint every time (or grass if mush/star.) You'll be surprised how many items you pick up just racing naturally. You really don't need to make an effort to pick up items in this course. Grade: F Turn 10: 3:54:27 Eh, that one was ok. Grade: C- Turn 11: 3:54:33 Lol, Chilled... He had three mushrooms at the end of turn 10, and blew them immediately. He had a boomerang and wanted to hit Ray, so he burned the mush to get to the 'rang. But the thing is.... If you're in range to hit him with a 'rang, then you can easily use the mush to cut the corner and just over take him instead. He could have had a mushroom for 3 of the last 4 laps. That's awesome positioning. Instead, he reduces to 0 mushrooms for the last 4 laps. Grade: D Turn 12: 3:54:38 Yikes, the line was just way off. He was angling in to the turn much too early on that one, collides into the wall on the exit. Grade: F Turn 13: 3:54:43 Doesn't cut through the grass despite having a star :( Grade: D Turn 14: 3:54:48 Wow. I didn't like his swerve inside, but everything else on this turn? THAT is what we were looking to see this whole time! Grade: A Chibi destroyed the competition on this one. I tried to track he as well as I could through Chilled's cam here, and she knows her lines very well on this one. Remember when Chilled crashed into her item on Turn 5? That was Chibi driving straight up the track with proper speed and momentum. She cut Chilled off hard and made him pay. Racing a proper line caused her to obliterate someone racing an improper line. You don't really see her ever again after that.

I didn't even know there was a third one until just now. The grades on that wouldn't be much better, I'm afraid :(
