I somehow saw part of this once on tv when channel surfing and wondered what the heck I was watching. Now I finally know where the heck this was from.

I thought you'd like this, since you really like the Cinderella story, and it has June Foray doing the female voices!

Wow, I haven't seen this I was a kid. I remember my brother and I laughing like crazy the whole way through. I always wondered where it was from. It still cracks me up. A lot of work and editing went it to that one.

Wow, June Foray sure got around! I especially like the stepsister that has June's "battleaxe wife/mother-in-law" voice, one of my favorite types of voices she did!

This was later reworked as a stand alone short subject with a new soundtrack and full voice cast. No rhyme in the short subject version or songs.

The politically correct people will be all angry about this. Also the politically correct people were also the ones that probably brought this in and supported it at the time.

The PC crowd will cry animal exploitation ...but hey...watch this anyway for the fun premise.

Gene Detroy, who owned and controlled the Marquis Chimps, was not a very nice person when it came to training and "keeping them in line".

*I can't believe I WATCHED THIS!* *It's awful, but I just had to look to 'see how it ends'* ( *This might have played before Christmas in '59 because I saw it the same day my Grandmother took me to 'see Santa' at 'J.L. Hudson's' in downtown Detroit...and then we had lunch at the 'Auto-Mat' which is last time I ever was in one...they disappeared very fast at that time for whatever reasons...they just vanished* )
