Cinderella Incineration Toilet! Installation and Use

I needed a toilet for the cabin, and after hearing about incinerator toilets I thought they could be a perfect solution! But after hearing my friend's opinion of his other incinerator brand's less than stellar performance, I researched what the most quality option out there was.
I went with the Cinderella Freedom toilet, and have been super pleased so far! Cinderella is totally safe, fully UL, CSA and NSF certified and comes with a 3 year warranty. I installed it myself just fine, but they say using a qualified installer for testing all electrical and gas connections is strongly recommended for warranty purposes.
The power 12v power adapter I used can be found here: cut.live/kedron

I think the idea of this toilet is brilliant. There is one thing that I wish they could fix, it's having to clean it with a brush every so often, so there isn't a blockage. I wish it could be like an oven, press a button, and it cleans the vent.

Where does the urinal drain too? I would be interested in a review after using it for a year. Props to the camera operator, you didn't have to film yourself! Cheers from Alaska

Search the web for other reviews as a woman in Ontario installed one of these and eventually removed it because of all the required maintenance. I bought and installed a TinyJohn and would definitely advise against buying one of those - nothing but issues. It has never worked as advertised and tech support is via text only so any questions can take days to receive a reply - not something you want if your toilet goes down the drain . . . BTW, Cinderella wasn't available when I bought my TinyJohn in 2019. After spending $3500 on the TinyJohn I'm now loathe to spend more on a Cinderella - may consider the Incinolet.

Awesome video, starting to see off road RV's with options to install this same model. That propane model uses only 1.8amps so works well for RV's and cabins.

Don't know if you went back to check on your work but I would make sure the joint seals are tight so rain water do not seep down into the vent pipe, looking at your install, the joint seal does not look secure.

What you need to mention is that the incinerator can run up to 3 hrs and the fan blows even longer. so if it is installed in close proximity to where you're sleeping DON'T 'flush' because you won't be able to sleep.

Why do you have to use a separate device for the liquid? The "Composting" toilets have diversion tanks and can be plumbed to a "grey" tank.

So, whats the point of a urinal if you pee in the toilet? Kind of a moot issue for me. I pee outside my cabin as much as possible in different spots. Helps keep bigger critters away and no buildup ammonia smell.
@hobojordo
@hobojordo 6 ай бұрын
Yeah that works fine too! It’s just for those who pee inside you dont have to use gas or electricity to burn it it just drains out into some gravel .. not necessary but can be nice

If women for any reason use pads or has gone back to disposables, don't chuck them in the hopper and fire it up. The plastic turns into a free-floating spider web. I can still hear the screaming that came from the bathroom. The 'attendee' was absolutely terrified of spiders and when the melted plastic came drifting out like something out of a nightmare when the lid came up, things got a little complicated. Apparently, whoever went in last had tossed the goods into the potty after the burn cycle was done. It made being at the remote UpTaCamp experience a bit different!.

This doesn't sound plausible as there is a fan that vents everything outside
@mainetreelineruguess97
@mainetreelineruguess97 6 ай бұрын
@@charliebezoski450 the plastic hit the hot surface AFTER the chamber safety doors had closed AND fired and were therefore hot. Meanwhile, the screamer was outside banging on the door to be let in, having lost the leg race to the crapper. The vent had shut off, things were still hot, and opening the lid provided the updraft. That's when things got interesting

Fan runs when lid is open
@mainetreelineruguess97
@mainetreelineruguess97 6 ай бұрын
@@charliebezoski450 Okay, you know new toilets, I know what the 'older' models ran like. It's the difference between a bicycle and a Lear jet, to be honest. The one I'm talking about was removed from the home and relegated to the summer camp. It may have come to the US somewhere post- WW2 I'm not saying it was past it's prime, but let's say it was showing it's age when this happened, and that's why it had been relegated to the summer camp. The burn chamber had two panels that snapped closed, covering the burner while the burner, yes, and the fan, did what they were designed to do. ONLY at the end of the burn cycle, the panels snapped open again like a rat trap, ready for action and the fan was OFF. If the lid was cracked open slightly during this process, there was no sensor in place to keep the crapper from firing. Not a good idea but hey, technology changes when it has to.The pad was slipped through the crack under the lid, landing on the hot panels that were still closed and cooking off the goods. So, the lid was closed but cracked open enough for the pad to be slipped in while the burn chamber was still firing and landed on the doors, plastic melted on the hot panels, and the rest is history. There was NO cool down cycle, or if there had been, that had long since stopped working. To be honest, I wasn't deep studying the thing because, frankly, it was a toilet. Again, let me repeat this... OLD version of the Burn-a-Turd model I'm talking about that you are comparing to today's version with all the improvements and sensors, safety features, are two almost polar opposites compared to today's model To give you some timeline scope on things, when this model was made computers were in the future, the internet and cell phones.... that was all Star Trek fantasy. That's not quite the same now. I hope I've explained this well enough, because I've answered all I can.
