What's incredibly frustrating is that the Empress is right. They, as parents, fought hard to give their children a good life; one without struggle and hardship, and yet these two princesses can't seem to understand that their privilege is something they should respect. Instead they bring up petty shit like how her mother is the empress but her father "only cares for Yue Heng" when that's obviously not the truth. And it's also deeper than that because of how the relationship between the emperor, the empress and Consort Yue came to be. It's unfortunate that the parents did everything right yet they had 2 daughters who were spoiled, bratty and entitled.

I like to think that his majesty knew that Ling Bu Yi wouldn't go too far but trusted that it would make his point better than anyone else (even himself). And that is why the Fith princess had to go to the mausoleum ALL day. I like to think he was giving Ling Bu Yi time to complete his own revenge. Lol 😈

The Princess was a beast she ate everyone up, she attacked everyone in her line of sight. I don’t like her but bravo on her acting in this scene. ❤

Rewatching these scenes and the whole series never gets old 😊
