Great review! I'm quite interested in this quad! A note, though... you shouldn't parallel charge your batteries. I don't know why parallel charging boards keep popping up, they're not effective. The charger has no way of seeing the different voltages between the cells, it will just see the highest voltage and go through it's charge cycle based on that cell. If there is a significant difference in the starting voltages (or different IR between cells for that matter), then it will only fully charge one cell. What you want is a series charging cable/board with an appropriate balance lead. This will allow the charger to charge and balance a number of individual cells as an (n)S pack, fully charging each of the individual cells. So for example, if you want to charge 4 single cells at once, you would set the charger to 4S and keep the charge rate based on a single cell's capacity. The balance lead will then allow the charger to read each cell's voltage individually and charge each cell to it's full capacity.

This is completely incorrect to say it is "ineffective". I will not say it isn't mildly dangerous for more careless individuals, but when you connect your batteries to a balance charger, all of the batteries first cells are counted as one cell, and they will balance themselves while connected to the board no matter if they are being charged or not. Same happens with the second cell in each battery, third, etc. So it is important to make sure before charging that all cells are within a healthy range of each other, and the other connected batteries. So on its own, your batteries cells will balance each other on the board. SO while all of your batteries first cells will be 15v for example, maybe all the second cells balance to 14.7, third to 14.8, etc. and then your charger while on the balance setting, will make each of these combined banks of cells all the same voltage through discharging and charging until they all have a common average voltage. From here it will charge your cells equally. I have not had a single issue yet with a cheap parallel board and a C240 charger. All cells in all batteries end up at 16.8v exactly after charging. You make it sound like parallel charging will leave most of the cells partially charged. Again, this is very incorrect. So while your charger can only see each individual "bank" of cells across all your batteries, your point is moot as they will balance each other within the time your batteries are fully charged.

I bought the 1080P version from Banggood for just $90. Out of five quads, this one is my favorite to fly. The Runcam Split 3 provides an awesome image (better than the Caddx Turtle v2).

Hey Justin, thanks now I'm torn between the 4K EACHINE CINEFUN vs TRON 80 Whoop HD lol. Any recommendations? I have the Radiomaster TXS16 w/TBS setup and really love the TRON 80HD since it would be more stable outdoors but, is it difficult to set up the TRON 80 HD w/TBS crossfire? Keep in mind I'm a fairly novice pilot but enjoy all the challenges

Hmmm Eachine...I bought the Eachine Cinecan and then they discontinued the motors when I needed a replacement. The Caddx Tarsier is nice but useless since I cant fly inow. I may wait on this one😐

Good day, I would appreciate your opinion very much, I want a small drone to fly indoors and outdoors, more in indoors, I would like it to have HD, what would be better for you ?, mobula6 HD with frame 75mm, mobula 7 hd with Runcam SPLITE3 and KV9000 motors, or a cinefun (more expensive) or other whoop?, I would appreciate your opinion on which would be better, thanks in advance, greetings!

Hey Justin, what do you think of the FPV feed? Other Loris reviewers say is awfull and unflyable? Also what do think how does it compare to the Anger X85? It's the same pricing, don't you get much more with the AngerX85?

What's the point of buying this with the geelang anger 4k gets 12 minutes flight time? So many of these drones suffer from poor flight time.

Turning on the motors the video footage vibrates heavily and it looks like crap. SD card is super fast. Is there a chance to modify settings in betaflight? Motors off=nice video. Screws are tight. Right now thumbs down. :-(
