Everyone seems to forget what Maggie's first word ACTUALLY was. Homer: "Maggie, I hope you never talk." Maggie: *takes out her pacifier* "...Daddy..." Maggie then goes to sleep and the episode ends.

Not everyone sense of humour is the same as your level buddy, if you think such humour is going to make someone like Jeremy take a sin off for that ridiculous excuse or unreasonable reason then you're dead wrong, you would just be telling yourself something that's "funny" to you when it isn't to other's, the world doesn't just resolve around you only, for that excuse of a comment and an excuse thinking a cartoon character mimicking a chainsaw is impressive to you and hilarious, you've got some major issue's about your humour my friend...and sin you i shall... *ding*

@5:15 He doesn’t offer to “make” Bart coco, he instead offers to “fix” him some coco, similar to how you would “fix” a friend a plate of dinner which would suggest the coco is already made. He knew bart was just outside the window so he brought the “fixin’s” with him.

Actually Maggie's first word is "Daddy". It was at the end of the episode. Homer is tucking her in. He says something about hoping she never says a word and after walking out of the room she takes out her Pacifier and says Daddy. For some reason everyone seems to forget this happened

I think the slight irony was that when i first saw the movie in theaters i didnt realize he was talking about Disney, i thought he was referring to Mom Corp from futurama since mom has her hair in the exact same setup as the bra, and there was crossover from simpsons to futurama a few times with little gags like when bender ate the bart dolls shorts.

Fun fact: the original villain was supposed to be Hank Scorpio but the writers and staff felt that his friendship with Homer and being a nice guy that does "evil" things wouldn't work so they decided on a more outright evil new character voiced by Hank's original voice actor

This movie, while entertaining and a nice nostalgia payoff for someone who had been watching the Simpsons since she was a child, had several issues. The biggest one was that the villain was NOT Hank Scorpio. Hank Scorpio was by far my favorite one-off character in the series, and the payoff-gasm that would have been achieved by having him as the main villain in the movie would have been *chef's kiss* priceless.

Sin 6:20 - How the hell did Homer get all that pig crap into the silo? The fact that it's leaking means is watery as hell (even though some of it is his) so no shovel should be able to scoop that shit up, also there is no opening to this silo making it even more impossible. - Also given that show's running gag there is a 90 percent chance he stole this silo from Flanders.

One might say it's an...excellent...question. But seriously, back in the old days, people went to church even when they didn't believe because it was expected in society. It's really only around the late 70s/early 80s that people stopped going if they weren't actually invested in the religion.

The thing about this movie is, it's an okay movie on its own, like if you've never seen any kind of Simpsons episode in your life, the movie works and is fun to watch, this definitely helps you enjoy the movie if you've seen every single Simpson's episode recently.

Actually, Maggie said her first word. She said daddy after Homer put her to bed and left. I believe it was the episode where Lisa and Bart asked why there were no pictures of Maggie and it was revealed he has them in his office to remember why he went groveling back to Burns.

Yeah, what the hell? There's actually a great reason for picking Green Day for The Simpsons movie too. Both The Simpsons (as shorts on the Tracey Ullman show) and Green Day started in 1987 and exploded in popularity in the early 90s. They're both American institutions, in my opinion.

8:16 another sin for the movie. I’m pretty sure that pig crap wouldn’t pollute the water, or at least not as bad as the movie portrayed it. If they truly wanted to do it, they should’ve just had it be Homer’s toxic waste from work. Not only is using the pig scientifically incorrect, it’s also incredibly lazy. Literally, the pig only appears once after the pig crap is discovered and then it’s forgotten about. It almost seems like the pig was purely brought in as a plot device. I get that this is “Cartoon World”, but you gotta remember that this is the thing that caused Homer and his family to get kicked out of their town. If you’re gonna have it be the catalyst of the plot, it could’ve at least been more tastefully done. Like I said, have it be Homer being too lazy to dump the waste outta town and just dump it in the lake.
