Exactly, I spent a total of $5000 on my theater including all mounts, wiring, speakers, receiver, projector, screen, and seating and it's more than I could ever ask for. I just don't see the value here at over 100 times more expensive than my theater!

@@apm3rk I guess I'll break it down. There are levels to this. The BEST common projector is the SOny I think VPL which is 50K, people spend 10K on screens. Over 100K on a high-quality acoustic treated soundproof room, Seats can be up to 15K Easily 20k-50K for speakers,.....That's for a high end home theater. An ultra High end would have dual Christie projectors that can be 200K each and IS much better than IMAX.and easily 100K in a 7.4.4 Atmos sound system. and other bells and whistles that can boost the price up.SOme of these people really get into it. I've een home theaters get as high as 2 million. buit the quality is MUCH better than IMAX and its personal. When you have the money hey spend it how you like. You can get a civic that is fast and high qality or you could get a porsche......OR go extreme and get a Laferrari.

The screen is the right size for the room. It needs to leave space for the wall.

This is a showroom, not an actual theater meant for long-time viewing. Why waste the money on an unnecessarily large space? Besides the projectors they use can easily hit 3x larger.

After staring at the video and everything in the room for 10 minutes, I cannot for the life of me figure out what in this room added up to be $500,000. The screen, projector (even a top end theatrical one), bust-your-butt sound system with 8 high end leather seats. I mean, the most I could push was maybe $150,000. Nothing here tells me he couldn’t have done this exact same thing for 20% of the cost. Unless that ceiling alone is a quarter mill or something. I’m sorry, I just expect higher perfection (and a WHOLE lot more seats) for half a mill

Sound quality in that room would be exceptional as would the picture. My home theatre cost $250000 and it would probably not be as good as that room but not for moment would a $10000 be as good.

That Imax system would only really cover the electronic system and not the build of the room. If you want the room built theater you are looking closer to 2 million.

Nice but overkill. For under $100,000 One could have something very similar with great components and the client would not know the difference. Sales tactics to make a consumer spend more.. People don’t listen to this clown.

I am not sure I want to buy a home theater from "weenies" that would "mask up" for a "demo video"(sorry to be offensive, but again "REALLY"??)....AWESOME setup...but I am looking' for a the best theater, AT THE BEST PRICE....looks like you might overcharge me (how are your prices vs your competition?)...I plan to do build a home here in Fla where THE ENTIRE FIRST FLOOR will be built UNDERGROUND with the rest of the home on top of the theater......
