Chente prayed to God "let this be your will" when he left his 1% Motorcycle Club. He came to a conclusion he could not serve two master's one being his brotherhood pledge and the other to Jesus Christ. God has called Chente and delivered him from the Demons that haunted him.
In this two-part series, we sit down with Chente, also known as "Two Cuts." Born in East LA and raised in Rialto from a young age, Chente's early years held promise. His mother, a devout Christian, and his father, present in the household, provided stability for Chente and his siblings with a comfortable home and ample provisions. However, the illusion shattered as Chente discovered his father's involvement in the drug trade. Despite his mother's pleas for his father to leave that life behind, he instead turned abusive and abandoned the family.
As the eldest, Chente bore the brunt of the fallout. Turning away from his faith, he spiraled into cocaine abuse and embraced the street life, eventually becoming affiliated with a notorious motorcycle club. Yet, amidst the chaos, he found redemption in Jesus Christ, leading him to leave the club and become a pastor, guiding others towards God.
Despite his tumultuous upbringing and struggles with addiction, Chente has transformed his life. Today, he runs a successful barber shop and is on the verge of opening a tattoo parlor in Cathedral City, embodying resilience and redemption.
