Great vid as well. From my experience, cinestill shines in still life and not landscape, i personally don't like how my greens look, maybe its just the way my lab scans it, but im excited to see how it does in fall.

Thank you it was a nice one to make, we got super lucky with the weather. You could well be right, maybe I will give that a go in future. I quite liked the colors but each to their own lol Fall is certainly a great time to try out films, so many colors going on.

I really liked my first roll of Cinestill 400D! I took a few landscape/mountain shots and a few city street photo type shots as well. I like the colors and I totally agree on the white balance edits! Great photos as always :)

Thanks appreciate it. Yeah it definitely leans towards the cooler side which I did expect. Always nice to have another choice for colour negative film though even if it might not be my first.

Given that its actual speed of this film is 250, by how much do you think you overexposed?

Not a big fan of any of the CineStill films. For me, at least, the results have been a little hit or miss. While I'm not a professional I do take my hobby seriously and like more consistent results than I've had with CineStill so far. My go to is Kodak Gold 200 and Portra 400 in 120 format.

Oh really, well that's interesting to know.I haven't really compared enough photos I have seen to notice if there was much difference tbh, but I agree Kodak Gold and Portra 400 would still be my go to films.

I have used the 400D and believe me don’t under any circumstances under expose it even a little. It is very muddy and has a horrible greenish cast if under exposed. I’ve read that many people are exposing it at 320 or even 200 ISO and getting better results. I still have several rolls of it so I’m going to give that a try
