Nine: I’m surprised. Mario: There you are, Nine. What are you doing up here? Linguini: Yeah! We had a plan. Nine: For what? Fixing your dimension or getting your brother back? Linguini: Well, it was, until you betrayed us and stole the Star for yourself. Wario: Also our city was shattered too because of his accident. Waluigi: Doesn’t he even have a plan, Wario? Wario: I don’t know. Do you? Nine: Of course I do. Wario and Waluigi: Huh? Nine: Well, you see, I may not have the 7 Crystals Stars, but I got the next powerful star in order to turn this world into my new world, the Paradox Star of the Mushroom Kingdom!

Linguini: You had enough, Nine? Without the power, you’re just not unstoppable enough. Nine Jr: You’re right. I did after all betrayed you just did everything for the stars, haven’t I? Mario: Yes. Because Linguini trust me more than you. He even lost his brother the way I did. We even tried to get them back. Nine: Then if I were you too, I would’ve returned my father a long time if I had a chance. Bowser: But we’ve already got 2 of the Crystal Stars. Even if you and your robot minions find the 5 more, we still have the upper hand. I mean: look at this world. It’s starting to collapse like it did to our dimension.
